Someone needs to give Martz a job.

13 years out of the league with your last chance in the NFL being the Cleveland Browns telling you "no" when you interviewed for the OC job after their 7-9 season is just unacceptable for an offensive genius like him.
He has forgotten 10 times more about football than you would ever know in 10 lifetimes. That's a fact.

Martz has a ring. Superbowl ring. According to you that makes him a winner. So now you are saying a winner doesn't know anything about football?

Amazing that he never did anything or even became a head coach again after the Rams dumped him.
He has a superbowl ring. According to you that makes him a winner. Are you saying now he is not a winner?

BTW. He did become HC of NFL team. He did win a superbowl. He did lead some of the most prolific offenses.

And then there is you.

Kurt Warner didn’t know what he was talking about until he finally made a video where he says he didn’t like a couple of Moore’s play designs and suddenly he should be our OC…
By the same token you hopped on his bandwagon when he criticized Dak....yeah...I see where you going either this.

Nowhere

Mike Martz even admits in his play breakdown Dak was late throwing the ball, but his objection was how come the WR was beat to the ball by the CB.

Quite simple, Dak was late to the ball and the DB had way tighter coverage than the DB on the bottom of the field defending the same exact route.

Dak threw it blindly into coverage..

Dak should not have thrown the ball there. He had two better options, including the WR at the bottom, who was on the same side of the field as Dak’s FIRST option and Zeke wide open with like 10 yards to run on the leak to the flat.

Garbage decision making by Dak.. that’s why it was intercepted by the DB..

Dak is not known for his decision making, which is why he throws these dumb routes and why he’s late with the ball.
Including the ones that bounced off of WR hands?

Would those be almost Receptions :lmao:

Doesn’t matter what the discussion is about, the same groups are on opposite sides, Martz is a genius or Martz is meh.

Reminds me of the old Miller Lite commercials, the tastes great versus the less filling!

Good post from a centralist point of view (there arent many of us on this fence).

The 'the receivers werent open' vrs 'Hilton was open (as many talking head mentioned)' somewhat supports your point and suggests that the basis of the problem is the design of the play, designed (IMO) not for the benefit or skillsets of Dak OR receivers.

That receiver corp didnt get open, so why design plays that appear .....scattergun and hope that one of them gets open, ESPECIALLY, when Dak's not comfortable with having to go through progressions (WITH DEFENSES THAT CHANGE POST SNAP).

I am convinced a WCO would suit all concerned, get Dak managing and marching the chains. OK it's not the way of the League, but it suits us....if we cant get separation as the play develops, get the ball to our CeeDee's/Cooks and look for them to play their ace YAC.
Fingers crossed WCO is Daks and receivers medicine. If not, no telling what next offseason would bring

Martz got a lot of his QBs hurt with 7 step drops, and bad O lines. Jmo, but there was a reason his bloom wore off in the NFL.

Insanity the lengths some will go. Not to mention that he clearly pointed out the throws that WERE Daks fault. This place gets dumb.
Its at all time high this time of the year. The best times to be on this site are after Dak had a good game. This place is somewhat civil lol.

100%. It definitely looked that way on some of those comebacks though
I mean it pains me to say it but yeah it does seem that way. Gallup body language as all off like he had no confidence in himself I hope that's just him coming back from injury. Coop expressed he was tired of those comeback routes.....

its easy to see even though most saw them when they happened ,

Gallup was responsible for 3 INT- 2 RS 1 Playoff game. he didn't fight for route fell down, and ran the wrong route =3=Matrz "Horrendous WR play" correct.
Brown - 2 on him 1 off his hands to lose a game in OT and another bad route
1 INT was tipped ball at the line
1int was Daks jersey was grabbed on follow through from behind that sailed over schultz head in the jags game-both those jags iNT not dak
1 for sure off Hendershot all Hendershot.
maybe .5 on Schlutz for stopping on that route ie Marttz said dont stand around come back and that what dak thoght..

others were on Dak or both or just routes being too close together.
so say 7 maybe 8 were not poor reads or bad throws.

he has only thrown 65 for his 97-game career that not a lot panning had 117 at the same point , the reason for year where he threw more than normal was the above breakdowns by martzs but we saw them in real time..

so 10 that about right for starter wish he had zero but 2021 Dak had 37tds and 10ints in 16 games..
