I hate to sound mean but love watching Beckham with that whiny face. It's like someone took his lollipop and told him to grow up. He was such a phenom and now when things aren't so great he turns into a 4 year old.
That said, Dez has not had much production since he's been paid. He's been hurt and had a bad year last year with quite a few drops when he played. At present, if he's consistently not showing up or late to practice, this is not a good either. Dez needs to show people his head, heart and body are all about team winning. He's a lightning rod for controversy and most is brought upon by his own actions. Don't know the remedy or you just leave it alone but its out there.

I agree, Den. It's time for Dez to show everyone he has a little bit of that Irvin competitiveness that even Irv has said he (Dez) has. He's shown it before, but cmon Dez, we need you, our rook needs you.

If it's simply a pain tolerance holding him out, he needs to fight through it like all the great competitors would.

And I'm a Dez fanboy.

Because I like a good zinger..

during that roundtable, Josina Anderson disagreed with herm and he was fuming. He started pointing his finger at her and yelling. It was absurd. She looked surprised then laughed at him. Edwards came off like a complete bozo during that segment.

At least Dez doesn't cry on the sideline. That's a line once crossed there's no going back.

Or beating yourself with a kicking net. That's pretty bad to.

honestly that cheap shot to josh norman's head last year was worse than anything dez has done in his career.

i hope they lose to the packers. they're on the verge of blowing up.
The fact that this happened last season tells me that I need to question that mike and mike crew and his guests sanity. Dez has never done anything like that before and his opposition has nothing but respect for him and his play. Even Norman who said something about Dez after the game last Thanksgiving had nothing but positive things to say about Dez during (obviously lol) and after the game.

I probably would've had the same reaction as Josina.. I hate patronizing men.

I completely agree with everything in this post, except the part about "the morons who watch these shows"

Hey! I watch these shows, theebs. Or maybe I'm less self-aware than I thought, and am, indeed, a moron :)

Loving the breakdown that ODB is having right now. Still love the talent, but he's quickly being compared to a young TO as TO began to become elite, and became as much of a distraction as that of an effective teammmate.
I too am a moron. :(

So yesterday I had espn on in the background when nfl live came on. They had a huge roundtable about Beckham Jr.'s actions. It was hilarious. It was like an SNL skit. Its espn sinking to a new low.

Nothing Beckham did deserved a big rountable like that and its absurd how espn creates this stuff out of basically nothing. Usually they save that type of thing for something Dallas related. At one point Herm Edwards said when he was young he had his grahm crackers and milk taken away and its time to take away ODB's crackers and milk!!! He was serious. SNL should thank them for this nonsense and do a spoof of it.

anyway, the whole time I was thinking the giants and beckham did nothing to deserve this kind of thing and its foolish, then of course they had to insert dez. They all said dez was a bigger problem and thankfully odb isn't that bad. Nuts.

then this morning i was dropping my kids off at school and was listening to mike and mike and they were doing the same schtick on ODB. Danny Kannel was on because he does college football with them and he said would you rather have odb or Dez bryant with all his problems. My first thought was what problems? He hasn't been arrested or suspended.

Mike Golic and the rest agreed that Dez was much worse than Beckham and golic said Dez FIGHTS with his teammates and coaches on the sideline and at practice, NEVER goes to meetings and gets in all kinds of trouble off the field to which all three agreed.

When has Dez ever fought with anyone on the sideline? When has he ever fought with a coach or said anything bad about a coach? I get that dez was rough around the edges but if you grew up with no parents and slept in the high school gym you might be a different kind of guy also. Its weird it feels like they just take a mixture of misinformation, problems of other players and the myths that get passed around about Dallas players and applying it to Dez.

anyway its just comical to me that they are attacking beckham like this and that they all just so carelessly put all this stuff on Dez. I only bring this up because of the amount of morons that watch these shows and take them as gospel. When people hear this they then think Dez is some sort of criminal who fights his teammates or whatever. pretty foolish.

I can't believe I made a thread about espn but i just find it so outrageous and silly. Antonio pierce and tim hassleback on tv being critical of guys getting mad or frustrated about losing..completely ridiculous.
You are so right. I like Greenberg and Golic for the most part but Golic was so wrong. Once again, Schefter and Werder tweet something from their "sources" and it's automatically right. Dez loves his team to a fault. He isn't fighting with coaches and players. The meeting thing is blown way out of proportion. I know Dez drives people crazy but he isn't a sissy like Odell and being a whiny baby. Then ESPN later today will probably have Bruschi, The most annoying homer analyst on TV. He'll talk about the Patriot way and why Belichick is the greatest person who's ever lived

My only question is: Why do you watch/listen to anything on ESPN not related to highlights? That's all I do.

Whoa, bro! Molly is gorgeous and opinionated. Maybe that's your problem with her?

(Side note [not for you, Rat], she's dating Jalen Rose, an awesome dude and former NBA player.)

So she's a 10 with a 10 IQ? :omg: Could be worse.

Instead I got what i got.

actually I think that she is really educated. not that the show puts her in position to show that, she is there to tell sas when to stop yelling.

She's become more vocal and outspoken for the last few months. It's a shame they didn't give Cari the same platform, as Cari is awesome and equally opinionated.
