I don't see why people are harping on ESPN for bringing this up. I know in our society it is en vogue to make fun of the media but that doesn't really hold water here. Why wouldn't ESPN have a conversation around this? His teammates (including the QB) and coaches and GM have come out and said it is a distraction. Should ESPN just ignore this story because...well...just because you find it distasteful?
Ding Ding.
A discussion sure. An over the top roundtable for 30 minutes with like 8 people while Herm Edwards yells and points his finger at the women on the roundtable and correlates it to his days in preschool. No. thats over the top silliness. I am not mad, upset, it didn't ruin my day or whatever else everyone is thinking.
A. I found the roundtable amazingly stupid only to go beyond that with edwards yelling about crackers and milk.
B. I think it is the perfect thing to be spoofed by SNL. I was laughing watching this, not mad.
C. I heard mike and mike this morning while dropping off my kids and found it funny how quickly they just associate anything with Dez and then agree Dez is worse based on non true events.
thats all. Not much to it.
and if you don't like it Herm Edwards will take your crackers and milk.
