Rush or White if they show good stuff during Pre-season, we have good trade value if any current (old) QB got hurt during training camp or near start of season.
Which Drew are you talking about? Bledsoe could sling the pill. I am sure you're talking pre retirement with the Cowboys at the end Drew. Bledsoe was plenty accurate more so than White ever was or will be.Not a bad comparison.
But I think White will show better accuracy than Bledsoe.

He does have that "stand tall in the pocket" look about him. Brady gets every inch out of his 6'4" frame.Don't laugh. I know this sounds crazy, but when I watch the video of White he reminds me a little of Tom Brady. Of course the video only shows the best plays he makes so its easy to be fooled, but there is something about his posture and movements during and after the plays that looks Brady-ish. For one thing, he stands in the pocket and makes the throws without being distracted by the pressure. He directs his offense with the same kind of purpose and determination.
I am not saying he is going to be Tom Brady. We probably won't see another Tom Brady in our life times. But I think he could have the attributes to be a leader and a good QB given the time to develop. He has good size and arm strength. His lack of movement does not bother me. Some very immobile QBs have been very successful in the NFL including Brady and the two Mannings. He throws with enough accuracy to be successful in the right situations. I think he is going to surprise us once he starts throwing the football in the offseason. Cooper Rush has some real competition.
He never had a pocket at Western Kentucky to presence in.Heard he lacks pocket awareness, big time.

He got the hell beat out of him in college, be interesting to see what he can do with some protection and a run game. Unfortunately for him, Cooper Rush is the next Brady, just ask around the forum.
This is where all of that "great QB mind in a punter's body" about Kellen Moore comes into play. His 3 QB's all have <3 years in the league. He does something with that, he's fast tracked up the coaching ladder. I make fun of him because he's fun to make fun of and goofy looking but I did watch him play at Boise St, aka Cowboys' farm club, and he was impressive with his knowledge of where to go with the ball. He had some great coaching himself so I am hoping he can show his stuff with these young QB's.
I'm just glad Scott Linehan didn't get away with nepotism and influence the drafting of his scrub son QB Matt Linehan from Idaho
How do you know he made an attempt to influence the team to draft his son? This post just seems like a made up excuse to complain.
Scott Linehan worked out his son in Idaho.....safe bet QB Matt Linehan was discussed in the draft war room at some point.
If that happens we a new starting QB.I'd be happy if he was the next Danny White. That dude was under appreciated.
Linehan went to Luke falks pro day and i will take White over Falk anyday.White seems like he has advanced already as a QB and Falk is just not good enough for a NFL QB.Scott Linehan worked out his son in Idaho.....safe bet QB Matt Linehan was discussed in the draft war room at some point.
I watched Drew Bledsoe in Buffalo before he came to Dallas.
He was a career 57.2% passer in an era when QB's were regularly hitting 60% of their passes or better.
Bledsoe was a decent but not great QB.
He was good. Not a scrub and White was not nearly as good/bettee as him coming out of Washington State. If so he would have been a 1st rounder.
Fair enough. Drew is also a damn goid wine maker.I never said he would be better than Bledsoe's entire game, which was more than just about the accuracy question. I thought Bledsoe was a decent leader and threw a good deep ball. In addition Bledsoe played a higher level of competition in college.
The media has made reports indicating that Dallas would sign Linnehan , so there is a reason for him to make the post.I guess you dont realize the team worked out a lot of players, many of whom were never pushed by anyone on draft day or ever became a consideration. You have nothing to suggest Linnehan tried to get away with anything. Again, this is just an excuse to fabricate a complaint.
why do fans get confused about tis, we did not switch anything, they simply added some plays to the playbook to take advantage of Daks extra skill-set..Dak is a Throw first QB and will know the entire playbook, the same one Romo ran, the difference is game planning and game day play calling will have those extra plays in it,..its simply if White or rush come in they call the other plays that suit them better.. DAK IS NOT A RUNNIGN QB, HE CAN RUN , HE WIL RUN BUT HE RATHER THROW..hes learning the playbook , all 1000 pages of it not just 5 rpo playsIf we are making a switch to a RPO type offense, how does he fit in?
Good arm. Took a beating in college behind terrible offensive lines. Accurate. Small school.
Interesting project.
Dak is a fru first quarterback when he steps up in the pocket. He is throw first when he rolls out.why do fans get confused about tis, we did not switch anything, they simply added some plays to the playbook to take advantage of Daks extra skill-set..Dak is a Throw first QB and will know the entire playbook, the same one Romo ran, the difference is game planning and game day play calling will have those extra plays in it,..its simply if White or rush come in they call the other plays that suit them better..
