He'll look good wearing #11 after Beasley is sent packing.

Beasley will be playing for the Cowboys in 2018. If it was up to some here the team wouldn’t be playing with any of their starting receivers from last season.

The media has made reports indicating that Dallas would sign Linnehan , so there is a reason for him to make the post.

First of all, signing Linehan as an UDFA camp arm is not the same as drafting him. Secondly, the media is just speculating for the purpose of writing a story. And finally, even if they did sign him as a training camp arm, that doesn’t constitute Linehan trying to get away with something nor warrant going off on a kid just because he happens to be Scott Linnehans son.

I personally have no problem with the idea of Linehans son being a training camp arm. The team has to have them, so why not this kid? They throw passes in drills during TC then they go home and start their lives away from playing football.

Best part of Mike White is it ends the Cooper Rush talk.

Worst part of Mike White is he came from WKY where they drew plays up in the sand as opposed to an actual playbook and he will become the new Cooper Rush talk. Until people finally learn that it's like Favre; he's just the designated clipboard holder for now, and there will be a dozen more.

My first thought on the pick was they aren't 100% sure that last year was a fluke for Dak so it's a little insurance.

I’m sure there is at least some truth to that, plus they may not be convinced Rush is best to be next in line.

Heard he lacks pocket awareness, big time.
According to the scouting reports, but if you think about it, as bad as his line was, you either have to have your head on a swivel at all times (not a good trait in a QB) or you get hit a lot. Could be, with a good O-line, his awareness improves, simply because there's less to react to.

It's quite difficult to develop top notch pocket awareness when your offensive line is horrible....................

Yeah but the scouting report says he contributed his fair share of the sacks against him which might have been where he developed that knock. The other number people are ignoring is that he fumbled 12 times last season. I like Rush and this guy looks intriguing too but I wonder what NFL game speed would do to them versus just looking good in preseason which Rush has done and needs to follow up and this guy has yet to do. Either way, I hope we don't have to see them in a regular season game except to mop up in a rout.

It never hurts to draft/sign an UDFA QB every year ... you just never know when the next Romo might show up in camp. It's also important to start thinking about options beyond Dak, Dak has to be better this season...there are no distractions now, an improved line, Elliot with a chip on his shoulder, no Dez chirping, and more Dak friendly receivers ... and hopefully an improved defence where we get the ball in better field position...this should be a Dak prove it year. We saw a good season in year 1, average to good in year 2, in year 3 I'd settle for good most games, with hopefully a great game tossed in there every once in a while. Love this time of year, even Brown fans are optimistic...LOL

I'd be happy if he was the next Danny White. That dude was under appreciated.

Exactly. People had the audacity to say Romo was better than Danny. But that is the perception you get if you lose that many NFC title games in a row. Romo was more of Gary Hogeboom.
