I buy into winners and leaders. Not gimics and flukes.

Sure Romo had some talent. But he was unproven. Just as he is now.

ok i can live with that opinion

And it was said that the great Peyton Manning could not win big games since he failed in college and most of his pro career until his team won a SB. A lot of things are said does not make them true

I see you have not learned anything since the last time you opened your mouth.

lol is life really that boring for you?

calm down man...i didn't mean for my non attacking opinion on 2 WR's, to get you upset, and call me stupid, you know what, i apologize man

relax, enjoy life man, were suppose to be a family, we are all here for the same reason, the Cowboys, why attack, a guy, who is not disrespecting the team, just having a harmless opinion regardless how foolish it may be...you call yourself a Zone Defender....we should attack the guys who say "cowboys suck, or Romo sucks ect"...im not saying we should all agree on everything, but personal insults, like come on man, are we elementary?

i see threads i dis like all the time, but i don't go and attack a guy, for his opinion on a subject, i know its the NET but man, this is a good way to start trolling by pissing a guy off, or just run them away

But I think everyone eventually thought Manning would get there and win one. He just unfortunately for him had to go through Tom Brady to get there.

Romo has to go through himself to get into the playoffs.

I hope he stays healthy and is able to really do great this year and beyond but I think it's way to early to be trying to say he may or may not be able to do this or that better than TO. He hasn't shown anything, to this point, to indicate that he has more of this or that than anyone.

Hopefully he'll turn out to be that great, that would be awesome.

Romo has to have the same thing Manning had, a team hitting on all cylinders come playoff time. Sorry QB's do not win SB teams do that has and never will change. Romo has things he has to improve on but if Dallas is to take it to the next level it will take players around him to step up and do the job as well. Lastly not many were saying Manning eventually would they did as you are now making claims because he hasn't yet he never will. Romo has the talent he has things to improve on but his talent is there and to get that SB we need him and this team to step up and make improvements in their play

Austin looked good and he is very fast. He's also a big guy. I'm excited and it appears so are a lot of other people.

I agree... I keep thinking of Jimmy Smith.

Wow.

To think that T.O., such a bad player, will end up in the HOF is amazing.

what is amazing if how a guy with HOF talent has managed to wear out his welcome on 3 teams and even the 4th team was only willing to do a 1 year contract.

This is one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read. What has Miles Austin ever done?

Seriously, does he even have 30 career catches?

Owens was a flat out stud by his 3rd year in the league, while we're still waiting on Austin to get it.

I guess some people just feel the need to make themselves feel better about our #2 WR situation, so they resort to making stuff in their mind and eventually believing it.

Attitude aside, I'll take T.O. any day of the week over Austin. And anyone who says otherwise clearly doesn't know football or is kidding themself.

I never liked T.O. but even I can't get on board with this thread.

That was true until he did it, why should it be assumed differently for anyone else? Let the players prove it, don't hand it to them.

I don't hand anyone anything I expect Romo to earn it but I'm not going to sit here and constantly slam him until he does. I'm on his side, I'm pulling for him not against him. I know he has the talent to play at a high level if I did not believe that I would not defend him.

I like your guy too, but neither are play-makers. And Austin is someone who benifits from people virtually forgetting about him on the football field.

That is my one huge fear with Austin is that the flashes he showed last year are a by product of being on the field at the same time as TO, Witten, and Crayton and the defense simply forgetting about him.

We'll see this year though. I'm really hoping he does well cause I honestly do like Austin. He seems like a good dude.

Mine as well which is why I would not be opposed to Dallas selecting a WR in the draft should one of the top prospect be on the board at our pick. I think Austin has the talent to be a good WR my only concern is his ability to avoid injury.

OMG...

No, Austin does not have more talent than T.O.

T.O.=HOF
Austin=trying to maybe beat Crayton for #2 job.

Miles has talent, but it's nowhere near T.O.

lol

I wonder how Crayton feels in this situation, where everybody has already proclaimed Miles Austin the number 2, including Jerry? And isn't Miles Austin really replacing Roy WIlliams as the number 2 and Roy replacing TO. Shouldn't we be talking about how Miles is better number 2 than RW is?
