It only counts for negative stuff. But throwing a 4th down end of game, game winning touchdown in a win or go home situation like the very last pass he through....well that doesn't count as clutch.

He was amazing in that game against a 3-13 team... Let me tell ya.

Washington 2012 with division and playoffs on the line. ROMO CHOKED PERIOD. He was the weakest link on the team. Never forget!
Kind of hard to forget Romo throwing three interceptions. It's also hard to forget Alfred Morris topping the two hundred yard mark and scoring three touchdowns. The defense choked too.

Total dbag response...only remembers the bad...even if it was 2 seasons ago, vs what just happened.
No clue.

Massive, massive dbag response,
No surprise.

I remember the last time it was a win and get in the playoffs game. Unfortunately that is the last game he was in that position and he choked. His legacy will be that he was a decent regular season QB but folded like a lawn chair in the playoffs or win and you're in games.

The truth hurts but you don't have to resort to personal attacks pal... At the end of the day we are both Cowboys fans.

I think it's about 80-20 pro Romo...maybe more.
It's just the anti Romo crowd are very animated about it.
Just my opinion, but I think the robust support/anti-support skewers the overall observation.

The defense was decimated with injuries. Even with that said, Romo had the ball in his hands with a position to tie or go ahead at the end and what did he do? HE was the weakest link on that team that night period. He has earned his legacy.

Can we agree to put each other on ignore?
That might make my CZ experience better.
I'm pretty mellow, except when I read your clueless garbage.

Ah yes. The "nothing matters except the end of the game" approach. Got it.

Romo played with busted ribs...but his injuries, as always, are just an excuse.
The line was a total sieve as well.
And on the last drive there was no Dez, no Austin, no Harris, no run game. But no excuse...it was all on Romo.
Good grief.

More personal attacks. It just shows how you are letting your emotions get involved. With that said, yes ... I gladly agree to a mutual ignore.

Yes, that was the excuse AFTER the fact. Always an excuse. Ok you get last word and then mutual ignore....

I've been a member or moderator on this site for a number of years. In my estimation of observing actively made posts, the ratio of pro-Romo to anti-Romo members runs about even, with members having a balance view of him making up the rest. Just my guess with no scientific basis to support it.

Whatever the ratio, the point remains that Romo is not that well thought of outside of the fanbase, or I should say a portion of the fanbase. Many people defended him until the choke jobs kept proving them wrong. I was one of the Romo defenders at one time. It has got to the point where I expect him to choke in the high pressure situations. The game that started opening my eyes was the Jets-Cowboys Sunday night game in Rob Ryan's first year as DC. That game opened my eyes and I realized that I was wrong to defend Romo. Choking in pressure games is one of his faults and there nothing that I can do about it. I certainly was not going to continue denying the problem when it was repeated game after game.

There's nothing you can say to get the "choker" crowd to put down their pitchforks.

They've always held onto those very limited bad plays as if it was their lifeblood to hatred entitlement.

It's like Staubach said after the Denver game last year; that he finally realized there were some out there that would never let up...even when the team lost after scoring 48 pts and punting one time, the QB had 500 yards, 5 TDs and only 1int. That one int would erase all the greatness and even the 51 points given up by the defense.

Most QBs will never have one game in their lives where they played or dreamed of playing that well, yet somehow there where some who blamed the loss on him.

Flat earthers. People that dumb can't be reasoned with.

Romo has choked a lot. He just has. It can't be denied or minimized with stats. It started with that damn botched snap in Seattle. Some players come up big when the pressure is on, others pull a "romo". He played great against Denver, until the end when he had his chance to win it. That was the only game where he wasn't reluctant to throw the ball deep.

Some fans have the ability to step back and realize although he is good, he tends to throw picks with the game on the line. We've all seen it over the years. Some have just quit defending him at every turn. Let me guess, he got his foot stepped on? That's why he threw the pick against Denver?

Fair enough. My commentary centered on site membership/ratio opinions, active or non-active. Nothing more.

See, that's the irony. You use an opening day road game (Jets) against a non conference opponent that was favored to win as an example.
But then on the next opening day game against the division rival and defending Super Bowl champ Giants, Romo and his team win and play well. The second game was 5x more important...yet you dwell on that near meaningless game a year earlier.

So you are actually one of those fans that think Romo blew the Denver game? Wow...just wow.

I'm not sure why SportsCenter isn't more popular among football fans. Why waste time watching what your entire team does to lose a game for four quarters, when you can simply catch the highlight of your quarterback throw an interception at the end of the game? Heck, that's even more efficient than the NFL Network's RedZone Channel.

I asked you before...list the games that Romo actually lost by himself, and then list the games the team as a whole lost games. You never responded, lurked off...and the funny thing about that is, you asked me if you wanted you to tell me the games that Romo lost all by himself. So, again, since you offered, tell us all the games that are solely on Romo and not the team as a whole. But this time, don't lurk and then run away like a troll. Be a man and answer the question you posed to me.

Are their any games that Romo won for the Cowboys? Or are you just going to troll your hatred for the games that he did make a mistake in trying to carry a team that has no talent around him. Your TrailBlazer routine has you going around and around...find a new trail.
