See, that's the irony. You use an opening day road game (Jets) against a non conference opponent that was favored to win as an example.
But then on the next opening day game against the division rival and defending Super Bowl champ Giants, Romo and his team win and play well. The second game was 5x more important...yet you dwell on that near meaningless game a year earlier.

Consider the source...lol

Tony Romo is amazing! Everyone has him pegged all wrong. His is a leader and never chokes.

Im just curious as to why you and all the guys who have given you likes for this post havent started your own "realist" board and then all the "realists" will have a home where they can co miserate and never have to hear a good word about Romo, Jerry, Red, the team, fans at home games, and even the city of Dallas.

DE, you know members will say it doesn't matter
what the rest of the team does, it only matters if...

SHADDUP!

They will also say you can't compare Romo to a Hall of...
SHADDUP!

You're really rude, you know that?
SHADDUP!

How about that kamikaze cat who saved the young boy from that dog?
Yeah that was pretty cool cat.

So, DE, the whole it's only on Romo thingy is...
SHADDUP!

I asked you before...list the games that Romo actually lost by himself, and then list the games the team as a whole lost games. You never responded, lurked off...and the funny thing about that is, you asked me if you wanted you to tell me the games that Romo lost all by himself. So, again, since you offered, tell us all the games that are solely on Romo and not the team as a whole. But this time, don't lurk and then run away like a troll. Be a man and answer the question you posed to me.

I dont think Romo matched his regular season stats in any of the elimination losses.

Do you really want me discuss the game against the Commanders where he pulled a choke job and gave them a trip to the playoffs? The Jets game is a fine example itself. Sunday night, prime time, national TV, the long awaited Ryan brother reunion, and Romo chokes. I can go on and on, but that is a weak point you are making considering that his chokes usually come against teams with winning records. The biggest games against the toughest opponents results in choke jobs. That is not good.

I have never run from your questions. The last time we debated , you begged me to watch the game and leave you alone. The choke jobs are his fault. By choke jobs, I mean the games that are lost because he turns the ball over in the final minutes. I am not going to go back and look at every game. The choke jobs against the Jets, Commanders, Lions and Broncos are a few that come to mind. There are many more, but I am not going to take the time to list them. I named four. That should be enough to prove my point. I just hope you deny that they happened. I really do.

It has took you months to get the courage to debate me again. The last time, I took it easy when you begged off. I may not be so kind this time around.

Whatever.
The Giants game was opening night prime time national tv too and a far bigger game. They were defending SB champs and the hype was off the charts.
We...won..the..game.
But somehow, you seem to think that Jets game is more important.
It's very telling.

If you want to pick games where Romo didn't play well, do the same for every other QB that ever played.
You guys put way too much emphasis on the bad, when it's far, far outweighed by the good.

And no, I'm not even one who things Romo is top 5 or irreplaceable. I know he has flaws.

The Cowboys had a punt blocked for a touchdown in that Jets game. Romo should have done a better job with that, too.;)

Percy Howard has done that numerous times with raw data that is just the facts. A person can choose to accept it or choose denial if that fits the preconceived agenda.

I asked for the losses that the team lost! Provide that...

Romo lost some games, all QB's do when yo have to compensate for the talent around you. Learn the game...

You're right. If Romo had coached up the punt team better it would never have happened like that.

Except for one Brady game, Tony Romo and the Dallas offense had a better game against that Jets defense than any other QB and team that year.
The Jets D was very good and playing at home. Nobody gave Dallas a chance.
Somehow the Revis pick defined the entire game and still has people using it 3 seasons later as some sort of lame arse proof.
Preposterous.

Question for you.

Tell us all the games that Romo lost on his own. You listed four games. That is weak and lazy.

The punt team didnt throw that interview nor fumble in the red zone but he has some company, Peyton manning is not clutch.

Anyone that even dreams of using that Denver game as a negative on Romo has been truly revealed to be a blind hater. That was almost a perfect game. One the best played games by any QB at any time....at least that's what Staubach, Aikman, Warner, etc all said. We punted one time. He threw 5 TDs and had 500 yards vs 1int. Unbelievable effort.

But in truth, all of the division games meant more than that one.
Oh, that's right, we were 5-0 in those games conveniently not mentioned.
