Yankees showed some resiliency vs. the Cubs on Friday night.

Noah is done for at least 6 weeks... The Mets are officially a mess.

Mets got one-hit today but it was a good hit!

Harvey didn't feel like showing up to the park the other day and got suspended by the team. Tired of that selfish player and his antics.

Synder is going on the 60-day DL

Ahh, good times in NY.........

And to top it off the Mets are seriously looking at Doug Fister who was a car-wreck for the Astros last season. He put in 180 innings... which is the good side of the coin. The bad is that he had an ERA of close to 5.00 and has no velocity. Those nights he doesn't have much movement (most nights) then he's a BP pitcher.

Right now, that ERA isn't looking so bad:lmao:

It’s more of the same. This is the Orioles’ recipe, and it has ever so much to do with Buck Showalter and how he handles their bullpen. The Orioles bullpen has been by far the biggest reason why the team has so dramatically over-performed in the last half-decade. What makes things extra funny is that the Orioles bullpen is presently without the injured Zach Britton, who’s one of the most valuable relievers in the sport. Darren O’Day has an ERA north of 5. Things haven’t gone quite as the Orioles wanted, but the bullpen is still No. 3 in baseball in Win Probability Added. It was No. 1 over the previous five years combined. Throw in some unexpected quality work from the rotation and you’ve got a 22-10 record.

Familia now out with blood clot in shoulder. You cant make this stuff up. Like there is a sharp shooter just taking out integral players one by one. Time to just nuke Citifield. And while they are at it, put the Wilpons, Aldersons, Collins, the training staff, the medical staff, the cleaning crew, the game spread crew, the bat boy, the Citi game announcer, Ronnie, Keith and Gary all on a bus and ship them out of town. Dont worry about cleaning house, just nuke it. Bring on football. time to make football a year long game. Maybe have a team for the fall and winter and a team for the spring and summer. Two drafts would be alright too.

So what do the Mets do?

Sell off parts or do they think this is just one of those years when everything goes bad and they change little in the hope that next year is different?

Funny... A lot of similarities between the Mets, Giants, Blue Jays and Rangers this season.
