You are correct

id pitch Scherzer for 8 innings as long as he does not get blasted and let doolittle close it out if they are in that position

not the most sound of strategies but this nats bullpen could cost them a pennant

All kidding aside, the sleeping giant woke up! Nats better win game 5 or its series over in Houston

Welp, can Verlander actually win a WS game? Can the home team win one? Going to be a good finish :thumbup:
 
Great 3 games by Astros. They looked dead in the water after losing the 1st 2 games with our best pitchers on the mound. With the 3rd pitcher and bull pen in game 4 they did what was unexpected which was to capture both games. I knew Cole would not put up back to back poor outing and he came through to give Astros 3-2 lead. I will say the same for Verlander I do not expect a poor outing back to back for him. I expect him to shut down Nats and take the World Series Tuesday night. Go Stros!!!!!

If Budweiser has any brains, they should do a whole advertising campaign on the concept.

A catch line example: "For many years, guys have been saying "Here, hold my beer".... Not anymore."

They could have guys doing wacky motorcycle stunts, outrageous athletic feats, taking wedding vows, etc all while still holding on to their Bud Light.

I admit it, I didn't think we'd win the series after those first 2 games.

It become a longer shot to win no doubt about that. I was not surprised to win 2 of the games in Washington but to get the sweep was unbelievable. Now with Verlander up I like our chances to win it all Tuesday. Seeing guys like Alverez and Bergman bat coming to life I think will be the difference

Agree. Our bats coming to life is by far the biggest factor. Aside from pitching, of course!!!
