now first date I scrolled down too in 2002:
December 23, 2002 RAW 3.3

December 26, 2002 SD 3.4

i'm sure there are a ton more, but you can keep up your bull**** pretending you know alot about wrestling when you clearly know next to nothing if you don't recall how hot the SD product was with heyman booking.

How much you wanna bet on how many times?

in 2002 it was 2 times
in 2003 it was 0 times
in 2004 it was 2 times.

Thats almost every time for 3 years huh kid? and Most of those were when Raw was a holiday special showing old matches.

You were very wrong ....... as usual.

No nothing.

Not once except for a football game is a hell of a lot closer than every week for 3 years kid.

4 times ...... two were holiday reruns and two were football games like I said.

I was wrong about 2 . You were wrong about 150+.

Do the math.

No..I've heard him talk about that time in his life. He was an abusive alcoholic. He has a daughter that he finally decided he wanted to set a better example for...and I don't believe he remarried after Debra either. He was just out of control.

He said he never hit her ...... that she attacked him and he pushed her down.

All her ex husbands agreed that she attacked them n many occasions.

When the cops showed up you have a 6-1 240 pound drunk ex wrestler ..... they took him in.

In the police report it said she had no marks on her but he admitted to pushing her down.

that's not what I heard him say out of his own mouth..he said he was an "abusive alcoholic"...and he wanted to get himself straightened out to be a better father. The end result is all that matters. He stopped his heavy drinking and got himself together. I heard a ton of bad things about him when he was wrestling..same with Shawn. One just has to be glad they got themselves together or end up as another statistic of a wrestler dying young.

To be honest.. both brands are pretty crappy right now. If i were you though, i'd be rooting for TNA. Them being able to develop and further themselves in the wrestling market is pretty much the only chance we all have right now at ever seeing a decent wrestling show ever again. If they continue to develop and can bring back legitimate competition for the WWE's ratings, we'll see shows like we did back in the golden age of wrestling in the 90's.

I would LOVE to TNA to do better, to be a real competition to WWE, and to make the whole wrestling world better.

I agree it was so much better when WCW was hot and there was a real competition for the ratings.

Sadly TNA has proven, multiple times over, that they're not a real competition to the WWE and they're never going to be when they continue to pretty much be WCW Version 2.0 and suck worse than WCW did when it was dying.

If they could turn it around and be a real viable option I'd gladly support them to see it bring back a real competition in wrestling.

I just haven't seen it from them yet and I don't believe I ever will.

Loved his music. He's one of my all time favorites. The guy was pretty dang entertaining.

:laugh2: One of the many classic moments he left behind.

Yea, i never heard of the abuse reports, but if he did do that its obviously not something i would support. Im not sure what kind of person he was, but as a wrestler and an entertainer.. he was one of the best ever.

I've heard him speak about the reports and such. I've never heard him admit to hitting her, or anything, but I have heard him admit that he drank to much and it caused lots of problems. So maybe he did, maybe he was simply verbally abusive, who knows.

I've been watching Wrestling since before I watched Football, since 1999. So while 17, my perspective on wrestling isn't "invalid" because of my age, wrestling is a timeless product, you can watch feuds on DVD from 20 years ago and enjoy it the same someone watching it then would've, thats one of the beauty's of wrestling.

The "Ruthless Aggression" era on SD, from 2002-2004 with Paul Heyman booking was my favorite, i've seen a ton of stuff from the attitude era and before, and nothing touches 2002-2004 SD.

lmao!!!!! Get out of here. Seriously.

2002-2004 SD had some very nice stuff and some really quality and entertaining feuds and storylines but it doesn't even remotely come close, at all, to anything RAW related from 1997-2000.

Austin and The Rock, alone, on RAW during that span was 100x better than anything and everything wrestling has done since, and 100x than a lot of the stuff that came before it.

Once again you're showing your age, and lack of actual knowledge, of wrestling when you make a silly statement like that.

Austin & Rock while entertaining aren't in my top 10. I prefer good in-ring wrestling which is why i'd take Michaels & Jericho over Austin & Rock.

That's my opinion, and it's certainly not a popular one.

I have absolutely zero issue over that. I'd take HBK and Jericho over pretty much everyone too. They're amazing on the mic and in the ring, IMO. So I'm not sure what you're hoping to prove there.

In an ideal world you'd like your main eventers to be both great on the mic and great in the ring. Unfortunately that's just not always the case. So when you have to pick between the two, of whats going to draw and sell more, the guy whose fantastic on the mic is 99/100 times going to be the pick, and the bigger draw, over someone who can't talk worth a crap but can put on a wrestling clinic.

A prime example would be your boy AJ. Absolutely fantastic, phenomenal, amazing in ring worker. The guy is brilliant in the ring and is popular because of that. However he's no where near, and never will be, as popular as Austin, The Rock, Ric Flair, or any guy like that was cause he can't talk on the mic worth a piss.

If it was just about wrestling ability, in the ring, getting folks over then a guy like Lance Storm would have been a multiple time world champion and would have been a huge draw.

Like it or not top quality mic skills are what sells. You think Hogan is one of the all time biggest draws, and names, in wrestling history cause he can wrestle? Hell no. The guy is awful in the ring and has been pretty much his whole career. But he can talk. That's what draws people to the shows. That's what puts up the ratings and sells the PPV buy rates that are crazy.

Now in the case of Austin it's actually really unfair that he doesn't get more credit and it's another by product of young folks, like yourself, having no idea bout him outside of his Stone Cold run.

Got back and watch some WCW footage of him as 'Stunning' Steve Austin, especially his work in the Hollywood Blonds with Brian Pillman. Steve could actually wrestle pretty darn good. He was a darn solid wrestler.

The thing was he didn't need it. It wasn't needed for him to get over. What got him over was being brilliant on the mic, drinking beer, kicking ***, and flipping the bird. But he could actually go in the ring if they'd let him.

Unfortunately it's more common than uncommon for a pro wrestler to have had run-ins with the law..seems like almost every week somebody gets arrested for something these days.

Jericho even got busted for something not very long ago..last year maybe..

I think I posted this once but oh well..funny you would say that about Rock. Jericho said he's the best wrestler he's ever been in the ring with.

Taker says HHH is the best...

and Ric Flair is respected universally by his peers. Shame he needs money and is pimping himself out these days. He can't wrestle anymore but he still does. Well he tries anyway..I'll always have massive respect for Flair no matter what.

AJ is a terrible example for that, he is arguably the most over performer in TNA.

http://www.wrestlingforum.com/total...ing/547701-your-5-favorite-wrestlers-tna.html

90% of the people there list AJ in their top 5, and probably around 70% have him as their #1.

AJ is over, and he's not as bad as you make him seem to be on the mic. I know of Steve's work outside of the "stone cold" gimmick, but even at his best he was nowhere near a Shawn Michael's in he ring, but i'd take Stone Cold over The Rock everyday. I never really liked the Rock all that much, ever.

Yet if Jericho wanted to put on a 5 star match, who's he going to call?

AJ Styles, Kurt Angle or Shawn Michael's

(Styles-Jericho will most likely never happen, but would be an AMAZING feud. They could putup a match similar to Michaels-Jericho at WM19, and don't even get me started on a Michaels-Styles match/feud, that would be pure gold)

if Taker wants to put on a 5 star match, who's he going to call?

Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels or Chris Jericho.

I do watch some on youtube when i'm bored, Mistico (now Sin Cara) was my favorite, watched alot of his stuff. Can't stand Dos Cara's JR, bored the hell out of me (now Alberto Del Rio).

Currently i've been watching alot of ROH, they have rebuilt their roster to a point where its got a ton of interesting young guns again, like when they had Punk, Danielson, Hernandez, Homicide, McGuiness a few years back.

Edwards, Richards, Bennett, Castanogli, Hero, The Briscoes'. Great core of a roster right now.

and mike bennett- http://www.rohwrestling.com/mikebennett.php

mikebennett.jpg

tell me he doesn't look like a future WWE superstar, he's really raw right now and he's still better than Miz or Del Rio, no doubt. Barring anything unexpected, Mike Bennett will be headlining a Mania or Bound for Glory within a few years.
