Only folks going to the woodshed are JAGs that not seeing any playing time,,,,,CMIKE, WEEDEN, WHITE....waste of time talking about them......this is just another sophomoric move by the Cowboys.....if they wanna send a message SEND A MESSAGE....Fire a coach, bench a starter,,,,,cut Wilcox......Then you will get this teams attention....

This is a textbook Jimmy Johnson kind of day. Not saying it will work out or anything, but JJ didn't cut starters to send a message either, he always sent a message by cutting guys that were on the fringes.

And I think fans overstate the importance of acting against "names." Those guys were still teammates and guys at the next locker over and that kind of thing. Empty lockers make an impression regardless. It's still guys losing their jobs and probably their shot at their childhood dream.

It's been clear for a long time now that CM was not the player they though they were getting and that was reflected upon by the lack of minutes and snaps he was getting.
I don't know it he had an attitude problem or maybe he was just one of those guys that could not absorb the playbook and just tried to go off instinct. Whatever the reason it is not really a shock and I hope that cutting him now and his lack of playing time voids some of the trade parameters.
