White? Wow that came out of nowhere. I believe Christine Michael pick was conditional on how many games he played. They probably cut him in time enough to save the pick

Yeah, you might be right. I take back my previous snarky, sarcastic post. LOL.

You can find fault on both sides for that. He probably fully embraced his second chance and I am sure our inept coaching staff never really grew enough hairs on their chest to allow that opportunity.

I was on board with giving this kid a chance but this was the knock on him in Seattle. Look on the bright side at least Dallas didn't invest two years on him like they did in Seattle. The kid has the measurable's just not the noggin.

If the reason, or at least part of is that they do not trust CM in blitz pick with Romo coming back - what is the alternative ? The RB from training camp that's on the practice squad ?
Also, not a huge biggie, but I hate losing any draft pick. A seventh by itself is not that bad and they hardly make the squad, But a seventh packaged with a 5th or 6th to move up does. Just another option out the door.

If they are looking at a RB or DB off a PS, here are some who I would like them to take a look at:

ARIZ - CB Kevin White
ARIZ - FS Durrell Eskridge
BAL - RB Terrence West
CIN - RB Terrell Watson
DEN - CB Taurean Nixon
IND - RB Josh Robinson
MIA - FS Cedric Thompson
MIN - SS Anthony Harris
PHI - FS Ed Reynolds
STL - RB Malcolm Brown
STL - CB Melvin White

This is a textbook Jimmy Johnson kind of day. Not saying it will work out or anything, but JJ didn't cut starters to send a message either, he always sent a message by cutting guys that were on the fringes.

And I think fans overstate the importance of acting against "names." Those guys were still teammates and guys at the next locker over and that kind of thing. Empty lockers make an impression regardless. It's still guys losing their jobs and probably their shot at their childhood dream.

I hear what you selling.....but Im not buying Cowboy Koolaid.......Jason Garrett is NOT Jimmy Johnson and this TEAM has not won ONE darn thing since Jimmy Johnson left.....trying to act like Jimmy is nothing but a WANTA BE RELEVANT MOVE by the Cowboys....

These moves by the Cowboys will not make them play better on Sunday........Not one iota.........Romo's is this teams only hope.....He needs to find the magic formula to WIN or on to next year.
