Fact is he sucks a big sack.

I see. So first it is the award winning journalists he is surrounded by -- but when it turns out that he's actually an award winning journalist you simply turn to the "sucks" card.

Socratic method at work here ladies and gentlemen.

typical clownish cowboy hater statement when introducing the defense: "Marcus Spears is the supposed leader of this D.Line, yet he only has ONE sack on the season.":laugh2:

Actually he clarified that by discussing how Spears was a first round pick, etc. Not the clearest statement at the outset but he was right, if you've got a 1st, 4th, and 7th rounder starting on your D-line, you'd expect the 1st rounder to be the best of the lot, not the worst.

What award would you give him for Thursday's broadcast? Here are four suggestions:

Sports announcer most likely to not know what sport he's broadcasting
Sports announcer most likely to not know anybody's name
Sports announcer most likely to not know which team is which
Sports announcer most likely to speak in tongues (Phreb Arv!)

3 times in the 1st quarter when he was talking about the Cowboys, he called them the Packers.

Then when they started talking about Barber, he said........Barber is the such and such of the Packer offense....

My brother and I were just sittin there laughin at this clown and how every single instance he spoke.........something GB seemed to spew from his lips. I don't think he actually mentioned Dallas once during the telecast.

NFLN needs to get rid of Gumbel..........I know you guys won't like this, but I think they should go with Collinsworth and a stump of wood........I feel the stump would offer much greater insight into the game than Gumbel can.
