The only way this suspension makes the tiniest bit of sense is if they have photo evidence of the bruises existing before the night of Thompson's fight.

Which they may, but the NFL is refusing to release their report.

Also, a lot of her bruises look pretty incidental and suddenly Zeke's legal defense of "maybe she bumped a counter" doesn't look that ridiculous.
The only way they would have those is if Tiffany provided and it is easy to change the date and time in a phone to make it appear to be the day before.

Also alcohol can make some people bruise very easily. I've been bruised just from walking around the house after heavy doses of drinking. I'm sure she was drinking during this whole episode.

I believe there are ways to validate a time stamp on digital photos using metadata that cannot be changed.

This issue came up with the duke lacrosse scandal-- which by the way turned out to be false, for those who didn't keep up with the story.

If the date and time are changed in the phone prior to picture being taken how exactly is that metadata going to show when it was taken.

So reading 10 people sworn statements.
Saying there were no bruises on Ms. Thompson and he never went near her.
On the night after she said she was assalted.
And Ms. Thompson got into a fight in the parking lot.

No wonder the police or DA did not press charges.

It seems like all the NFL did was believe her side and that was it.

Not relevant to this case, but hilarious to read in the text messages that are attached to the report where she tells EE to do "everything he possibly can to pass [his] drug test" and he responds by saying he is "gonna pass" because he is going to "live in the sauna the next 24 hours".

Obviously he was using something.

I'm gonna guess weed..............

You can can change the exif data and the file creation date etc. and it would not be impossible to determine it was modified.

Canon's custom verification was broken years ago. Tools exist to reset the verification after a file has been modified

For what it's worth, most guilty people deny too.

Exactly. This whole "gotcha" angle being played by some people who have already decided he did this because he didn't have a strong denial last week is hilarious. Like that's the smoking gun.

"Hey guyzzzz, of course he did it, he didn't deny it! I mean if I were in his shoes I'd be screaming my innocence...... he's not, so no doubt he did it!"

If the NFL's goal for over a year is to produce a conclusion that they took action against a domestic violence case to please certain groups, the public, and the media then this is a sorry sorry situation.
If the committee (or the commish') sat in a meeting a year ago and the topic discussed is how can we put any sorry excuses, bits and pieces just to allow us to tell the world he did it and we took action, then this is a REALLY sorry sorry situation

I (like for sure all of us) side with the justice, if he attacked her then he deserves even bigger punishment and she deserves justice, if he did not then his name and reputation should not be dragged into the NFL PR campaign dirt. just do your job to find the TRUTH .. how hard is that? ultimately, you have a police report to fall on and make your case if you could not prove anything.

I think if Zeke is really innocent, then RG must go and the NFL office must be overhauled

See, I agree with that but do you think the marks around the neck are normal for two girls fighting? I'm obviously not an expert, nor are most people here, but that seems fishy to me.

Why would it be strange for one woman to grab another by the neck if they are fighting?

as more and more comes out showing how much of a kangaroo court the so called NFL investigatory and discipline parts have made of this, its telling that some here still defend it. But then I remember all the morons that hated Tony Romo and I realize that some so called fans can be really stupid.

Don't tell me now you're saying their self inflicted?

I dont know about all that but anyone can see she is capable of doing so considering how shes been scheming and plotting to "ruin" Zeke.

That's not true in anyway. There were rumours that he was seen knocking out a DJ, so those people would have seen it. And there were other people who saw him being knocked out that said Zeke didn't do it, so those people also saw it. Now obviously one of these is in accurate but saying no one saw someone get knocked out is an inaccurate and weak troll attempt.
And how many of those witnesses can still be found? Wouldn't it be reasonable to think Zeke would know who did it since it happened within a few feet of him? Wouldn't it be reasonable to think the victim knew who did it? Wouldn't it be reasonable to think the victim is hiding something by giving false contact information and was unable to be found.

I swear either some of you are truly ignorant and blind or just refuse to admit Zeke is even the slightest bit guilty. The entire metroplex could watch Zeke pull up that girls shirt but unless there was video of it no one would believe it. Since there is proof it's "ah, he's just a kid".

I wonder how many of you would still deny it if there was concrete evidence he hit the girl. Probably something like "self defense" or "she deserved it".

People like you are why every other fan base hates us. Never admit one of our players is wrong until he goes to another team then bash him, constantly make excuses for only our players instead of acknowledging it happens all over the league and play the "poor us,victim card" when things like this happen because Jerry continues to employ players with questionable character issues. Keep drinking the Jerry Aid brotha.

It's hard to take aria and beacamtim seriously at this point. Despite protestations, they have long determined that Elliott did it and no amount of evidence will convince them otherwise.

Elliott very well may have done it. I am totally open to that reality. But show me the real evidence. Show me the proof. Show me why in this situation his credibility should be viewed as worse than hers. That seems to be the difference between people like aria and others. I think most (not all mind you) here would admit that if the evidence is there, Elliott should be punished. But to date, there has been way more evidence made public and is out there that would indicate he didn't do it than indicating he did do it. Maybe the NFL is sitting on that hard evidence and we'll find out more by the appeal hearing.

And no, the fact he didn't scream his innocence on Friday when the findings were release and no, the fact that the NFL thinks he did it is not "Proof" or evidence.
