Good morning Pops and Zoner Friends,

Moving Day... With a bit of good fortunate, everything will be loaded today. We'll clean the home tomorrow and hit the road on Wednesday. After a long build up to the move, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the proverbial packing box... err, tunnel.

I am a bit of a procrastinator. Actually, I prefer to describe my approach to a large task like moving as the "blitzkrieg" approach... plan everything, and I mean everything, in my head and then (wait to the last moment, according to my wife) attack the problem relentlessly.

So, in the middle of the blitzkrieg last night, I started thinking about the Cowboys. I suppose I approached a near trance-like state between packing and wondering just what the heck happened to the 'boys?

I don't know if any of you remember the 1989 season. For me, there was a complete feeling of defeat. Although the coaching situation is different, players are different (this is a much more talented team), etc. this year is unfolding with similar feelings of disgust.

The "product" on the field is embarrassing. If this was a chess game, I would l toss the board into the playground and reset the chess pieces for a new game.

Sorry, it is the weight of the move affecting me.

Morning Pops and Popsadoodles. It's only a game, stupid Browns, it's only a game, what's wrong with us, it's only a game, who's responsible, it's only a game, I need to have a talk with you Jerry, it's only a game, it's only a game, it's only a game. Have a Browns kind of Monday in spite of the game. Only a game, my acidophilus.

Morning Pops and residents of Mudville. What did I tell ya about that cheer up things could always be worse, now you are cheerfully pissed.

I picked them to lose this game because it just seemed like the thing to do. However, I thought Chubb would be the one, not RB's with Home Depot aprons in their lockers.

To top it off, the Eagles won in the Name Tag Bowl. All night I was like Butch and Sundance "who the hell are these guys"? They now lead the Mighty East at 1-2-1 and could win it all at 4-4-4.

All I can do is laugh at how unbelievably poor all this highly-paid talent is playing.

Evening Pops and everyone.

Had my first PT today and the therapist determined that the problem is not with my meniscus, but rather, it’s a strained MCL. Good news for me. They sent me home with some exercises to do and I have a follow up next week. One more week in the brace and hopefully I can resume at least a walking regimen. Sure glad I have the stationary bike that was left here at the house. It will come in handy with my assigned exercises.

Morning Pops and Popsadoodles. Congrats on the good news, Jan. I hope your back rebounds fast, Leon. Don't worry about the score until you're back to you. Blame the bad score on your back and strut it out.

I finally completed one of my New Years resolutions. I didn't wait until December 31st to do it either. I shaved my legs!!! I wonder what I'll do next. I'm off to explore the world. Happy Hump Day everyone!

Hmm, I guess the Bigfoot hunters were knocking on your door. Well, whatever the reason, you can wear shorts again!

Morning, Pops and peeps. Since Xelda mentioned New Years resolutions I started thinking about what resolutions I should make. A good resolution is an art, not a science. It has to be plausible and attainable; but non-depressing when you break it. I'm sure Coach resolves to do things he likes, such as smoke more cigars, re stock the liquor cabinet and make to do lists to ignore.

I think I'll resolve to not make resolutions. That's one I can keep.

Good morning Pops and Zoner Friends,

As the sun rises on beautiful Butte, MT i'm thankful we only have about 300 miles left to drive today. Our car is so packed with the last remaining household goods that it reminds of those old photos of families fleeing the Dust Bowl. If we had a rocking chair, we would probably look like Jed Clampet driving to CA.

Very anxious about starting a new life in MT... And, can't wait for our first winter there.

So, how is the week winding down for you?

Morning Pops and fellow insomniacs. Leon has pegged me in that New Year's Resolution arena, I aim to increase all of the hedonistic and unhealthy joys of life and I've not yet disappointed myself. I would be doubly depressed if that happened. I did make some 2020 resolutions and I need to get busy on that as I am running out of time. My resolutions all begin with "starting next Fall, I.......".

I plan on going with cigar and cocktail in hand and hope I don't end up where I could just ask anyone for a light. I gave up on that being shot by the jealous husband of a young neglected housewife going out the window because I don't want to go out any window. Any neglected housewife in need of the attention of a gracefully aging cultured gentleman better be on the ground floor and with a door. If that gracefully aging cultured gentleman is in there with us, I like my chances on beating him out the door.

If the change in medication isn't jacking with my sleep pattern with these boring dreams about everyday life isn't enough, I just got a new mattress and am breaking it in. And breaking it in doesn't mean what it used to mean.

I got this custom made Saatva mattress because I'd had my old Simmons Beauty Rest and noticed two things. I wasn't getting more beautiful and since it had always had just l'il ole me on it, it was turning into Psycho Mom mattress because I sleep in the same place, even measure with my outstretched arms to make certain I am exactly in the middle (yes, I know). There's no one there for my outstretched arms any longer and they need something to do while I focus on slumber.

I am tired of being tired all the time and will be glad when this settles down. It is a good thing I don't have anything I have to do, like grownup responsibilities and stuff like that.

Morning, Pops and peeps. I have my annual physical exam today. I'm going to tell the doc that I'm really happy today and when he asks why; I'm going to tell him I only get a finger (or anything) up my butt once a year and today's the day! I even put some cologne down there to make it a more romantic experience.

Have a great day, folks.
