That's funny, ABQ. I would love to have a job that keeps me on the golf course. It might even entice me to come out of retirement. Regarding the scope on his putter; I needed one of those before the surgery. The macular hole resulted in a big obstructive spot in the middle of my vision. It was hard to see the ball at address.

Morning, Pops and Pen Pals. Well we didn't dodge the bullet last night. About 1:30 a.m. we had 60-65 MPH winds that broke two large branches off my oak tree in the front yard and a couple of branches off my neighbor's pine tree that fell into my yard. Plus I lost some of the wood surround that encloses my chimney pipe on the roof. The good news is that there doesn't appear to be roof damage and everyone is safe and sound. Lot's to be thankful for there. I'm just taking a short break from the clean up to say hello.

Leon, sorry to hear that you have run afoul with Nature but on the other hand, you are right, could have been so much worse. I hope clean up goes well and insurance moves quickly.

The following is my post from yesterday. I wrote it out but forgot to hit the "reply" button. LOL

Morning, Pops and Pen Pals. We worked almost all day cleaning up after the wind damage and almost got it done. Two people saw us working in the front yard and stopped and asked if we needed help. We were almost through at that point so we declined and thanked them, but it goes to show how nice Texans are. I made 6 trips to the green waste area in my pickup to dump the wood.

I gave the oak wood to my neighbor who volunteered to cut up the branches with his chain saw.
