It's Friday and that's a good thing. Leon, I am sorry to hear the struggle endured. Here in New Mexico, we lack a great many things. We don't have theater, we don't have Pro Sports, we do not have nearly as many good restaurants, as do, many of the larger metro's. However, the one thing we do have are very few real traffic issues and we have plenty of 4x pickups. If it gets overly tedious with the traffic here, we just create our own roads. That's one of the good things about living here. I am, at least, happy that you and yours are finally hitting the weekend.

Leon, it sounds like you had a good dose of what we Angelinos call "normal traffic." Sorry to hear of such a long ordeal for you and the family, but the most important thing is your precious cargo arriving safely! Still, sorry to hear you had to wait so long, plus the traffic and train

Today is my son's last day of school, so I'm picking him up a little early and we're going to Outback (he loves their burgers) to celebrate. The little one also made honor roll, again (we haven't gotten the report card yet, I guess that comes sometime in the next month or so), but we don't know if it's Assistant Principal's or Principal's honor roll. Crossing my fingers for Principal's

26 days sober, currently at the downtown LA VA to get a follow up lab, the one I had two days ago wasn't too encouraging for my doc on the liver reading.
