TGIF. Not a bad work week, but look forward to the weekends when I can actually spend time with my kid/wife.

Good news with my Aunt, she has been moved out of the ICU and will be monitored for a while but God willing, can be discharged soon.

How is everybody doing today? I have no real news to share on recipes etc., haven't really done much cooking this week so I'll have to figure out what we can do this weekend and report back.

Going to an Angels game with my son and the school's choir this evening. My son's friend is a member of the choir (Charter Oak Choir). They're performing before the game on the field. Should be real nice.

Morning, Pops. Morning, pen pals. Welcome to the Weekend! I went to my opthamalogist on Thursday. The plan was that he was going to give me a steroid shot in the eye to kick start the medicine he shot in there two weeks ago. The internal pics of the eye showed that the medicine was working well and that the excess fluid in my eye was nearly all gone, so the steroid shot wasn't necessary. I go back in 4 weeks for another shot of the medicine. Have a great day everyone.

No chili today, X. I only make my chili for get togethers, because I make it 6 quarts at a time, and I need someone to eat the remaining quart.
