Good morning Pops and you happy little humpers. Another Halloween in the Land of the Ancient and I have yet to see one little sugar beggar but I am prepared just in case. Got the good stuff but should one wonder by and negotiate the mine field in the front yard, I’ve got some of those nasty whatever the hell they are wrapped in Halloween colors paper. That alone should have ended the trick or treating activity.

Used to do Jello-O shots for the little beggars and some of those liquor filled chocolates but had too many showing up. One kid took a Greyhound from Tyler.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who might decide to stop in and visit a little bit before the little Ghosts and Goblins come a calling.

I can't say that Halloween is my favorite Holiday but it is up there, to be honest. I've never been much for a ton of Candy but I do like seeing all the little kiddos running around.

Leon, going down and taking a cup of Coffee sounds like a good way to start the day. Honestly, I wouldn't even take any music. The sound of that river and the morning coming alive is all you'll need. But if I were going to play some music, I might go with Proud Mary - CCR (or Ike and Tina if you prefer) or maybe Troubled Waters by Simon & Garfunkel, may Garth and The River. You know, something kinda easy and thoughtful like. Either way, you'll get it figured out. I hope you enjoy that Coffee my Friend, cause Lord knows there aren't enough times in life where you can just sit and be still and just enjoy a moment in time where you don't have things you need to be worried about.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW and John, I feel like I am not trying hard enough to stay in contact with you guys. I hope you are all well today. Make it a great day everybody.

Lastly, and this is everyone, look out for those little ones tonight, even if they aren't yours. An also, get good candy, don't go cheap and buy the craptastic stuff that none of the kids are going to want. Remember when you were little and what kind of candy you wanted to eat. LOL......... Mostly have fun everybody and be safe!

Morning, Pops and pen pals. I played golf in the rain yesterday; got in 11 holes before I had to quit because the thunder and lightening started. We didn't have any trick or treaters last night. Have a great day, folks.

I agree with you. I'm not much of a audiophile to begin with. When I'm in the truck I listen to sports talk radio. I love the sounds of nature and the otherwise quiet and solitude.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who might decide to stop in later.

I hope that everybody had a great Halloween. I was actually a little surprised. I think we saw two trick or treaters last night. Used to be that we would go through 4 or 5 big bags of Candy, last night almost none. My Wife told me that they started doing this thing at one of the local parks where they put on a thing. I mean, I guess that's good and I'm sure that's probably why but still, kinda miss the little trick or treaters.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW and John, how was all of your Halloweens?

Everybody, have a great day!

Just play with a 1 iron, because, as my brother says, "Even God can't hit a 1 iron!"

Afternoon Pops and friends. It was a quiet evening here. I guess everyone heard about Coach's Jello Shots and took buses to where he lives. We had storms roll through and brought cold weather. It's 55 outside! I've got my 100+ clothes on. November normally doesn't normally come in with jazz hands. Time to dig out my Canadian coat. Happy over the hump day everyone.

Morning Pops and those able to use a regular, made for human hands and not squirrel monkeys, keyboards. Mrs. Jolley, my 8th grade typing teacher, would really be enjoying my typing on an Etch-A-Sketch and feel justice has been served. I can only hope this is not the beginning of justice being served upon my person.

Now, y’all forget out poor ole CC looking like Ben Franklin in his little reading glasses and get on out there and make this a great day!

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who might decide to stop by and visit before the weekend starts.

Went to the AP last night to pick up my Sister-In-Law and her Daughter and it was 38 degrees then. It's getting colder here but still not as cold as it usually gets, in years past.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW and John, hope all of you are doing well today. Any cool plans for the weekend?

Everybody, have a great day today!

Might be the best football matchup weekend, college and pro, this season. I am pumped for that.

Good afternoon Pops and friends. I'd like to think I was playing super sleuth today. I'm pretty sure I was more like Colombo in Google trying to figure out what kind of spider I'd placed inside a sandwich baggie. It had a shiny marking on it's back. (I wouldn't mind a car that color.) I haven't paid close attention to the little web builders until one was caught moseying across my stove. I captured it and brought it to the internet to determine if it would receive the death penalty or get off with time served in the baggie. After subjecting myself to many grueling images of poisonous spiders, the jury could find no reason to sentence the poor creature to a swirling, watery death. I took it outside and told it that it was free to go, just not back into the house.

As an upstanding member of the community, I'm seeking re-election in my house. I am a fair and impartial judge of spiders. I clean my dogs water bowl weekly and feed the daily. I clean where I see need and delegate what I can't do. I am Xelda and I have approved this message.

Black Widows are shiny with a red marking hourglass. Brown Recluse have a violin shape. CouchCoach has a boot shape.

You are a braver woman than I am because those markings would be smudged and unrecognizable as my standard operating procedure is to scream like a girl, acquire the heaviest item I can find and began pounding while yelling “DIE SPIDER DIE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:lmao2:

That would be my first course of action, but I can't hurt my glass topped stove. I turned the vent light for a better look. It was backing away instead of charging. I wanted to make sure I don't have an infestation of poisonous spiders. Looking at those pictures, I get the fear of spiders but there's no room on my phobia list.

Morning, Pops and pen pals. Welcome to the Weekend! Yesterday was perfect weather; sunny and mid-70's. Today is expected to be similar. I better get to work figuring out what I want to do today. Have a good one, folks.
