Morning Pops, and gen pop wanderers!

The more I venture into that realm, the more I remember why I prefer to stay in here and the Off Topic Zone. It seems you can't even mention a pet peeve, without getting into a days long argument with someone who seemingly is only here for that purpose.

Anyway, I'm taking a couple days off, so no work until Wednesday for this guy! Happy first of 3 Saturdays in a row everyone!!

Might be the best football matchup weekend, college and pro, this season. I am pumped for that.

It is. I know that I am looking forward to the Texas WV game. That is a huge game for both teams.

Headed out to some friends soon to celebrate their youngest Daughter's 20th Birthday. Known that kid since she was little, now she's 20. It's true, time really does fly by.

Morning Pops and friends. If you're in one of the unfortunate areas of the country that observes DST, don't forget to turn your clocks back. I don't mind turning my clock back, it's when it springs forward that I grow fangs. What I really don't like about this part is dark at 5:30.

Morning Pops, and a beautiful morning it is out there...from in here. It's below 50 degrees and breezy, but at least it's sunny. Unfortunately, that allows me to see how few leaves are left on the trees, which reminds me that the ones that are missing can be found on my lawn............sigh.

How much mileage can we really get out of a chili thread? Do we get to derisively delete gumbo and stew recipes? Why do I have to start the thread? It's because you know it'll fail miserably, and you don't want that on your record, isn't it??? Hah! I'm not falling for that again! I'm done being your patsy, starting a whole thread, just so you can steal someone's recipe to impress all your old folk friends, and be King of Retirement Village for the Winter!............

Got a couple of good ones today, LA-NO, GB-NE.

Disappointed in most of the games yesterday, particularly AL-LSU but that OU-TT was a good one and condolences to the Horns fans here but that was a hell of a game. That last pass from Grier was the definition of perfection.
