Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to all who decide to stop in and spend a few minutes reading the thread today.

I hope everybody is off to a good start today. Happy Valentines Day to everybody. I hope that those of you who have plans, those plans work out beautifully. For those of you who may not have plans, I hope that you find some and they work out even better!

My Wife and I are not doing anything today, we both work tomorrow so we will just wait for the weekend and maybe I might take my Wife to Santa Fe to have dinner.

Everybody, maybe take a moment and try to find a little romance in life today. Everybody is in different places in our lives but, doesn't mean we can't enjoy a little romance. Doesn't have to be a date, all though it certainly can be. Can be as simple as a movie that you enjoy with a little food with somebody or even by yourself. The idea is to enjoy romance and that doesn't necessarily have to be with another person. Can be doing something on your own if that is the option available. Whatever the situation, enjoy life today because it's only here for that moment in time. After the moment passes, it never comes back again.

Morning Pops and happy....I just can't say it.

Day two of finally getting back to the gym, just to ride the bike. My pants are starting to get a little tight, after spending the past two and a half months in sedentary mode. Hopefully I can fix this before I have to buy a new wardrobe.

Get bigger clothes and enjoy all those comments "Runny, have you lost weight? You look great!"

I know the feeling all too well. I am not up to walking as much as I want to yet but I did buy a stationary incumbent bike yesterday that's being delivered as my doc told me to push Hector.

I gotta tell ya, when I went to see him last I let Hector slip out and he looked at me quizzically "Hector"? I explained to him that I'd named him and I could swear he was inching toward the exam room door. I decided I was already in the deep end, might as well swim. I told him he should feel honored because neither of my hips had names before and I can only be surprised by his reaction that he failed to tell me he had installed a female hip. He broke out laughing and relaxed and then he gave me a compliment I wasn't expecting. He said "ya know, most people that come to see a surgeon don't bring their personality but you have made being your surgeon a real pleasure, my PA is going to miss you as well".

And ABQ, that's about as close to romance as poor ole CC is going to get. I will have a fine dinner this evening with candle light and gaze into the mirror suggestively and wantonly.

Do they put you on the trickle charger when you do PT? I always feel like they take the terminals off too soon, cuz that's my favorite part of the visit. Of course, if I had the girl with the great body as my PT, instead of the guy, I wouldn't need the jump start, but at least I get to watch her walk by occasionally while I'm sitting there.

Afternoon Popadoodles and friendsadoodles. I've been behaving myself somewhat. Almost. Something happened to my right eye last week and I've forced myself to back off and not strain it any more than necessary. Every time I start to get on line and hit Cowboys zone, I think of Leon getting a shot in his eye. That really put the brakes on, but I've got to check in and make sure certain rapscallions haven't blown anything up or gotten arrested.

Water can't be hydrating because when I drink it all I can possibly do is run pee. I've heard when you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated. A fat lot of good it does since it can't wait to get back out into the wild. Ok Coach, where can I find this Extra Smart Water? I think I'm pretty smart, but I could really use the boost.

To all our Pops family that have lost a loved one, I wish I had the perfect words to lift you up but Coach hasn't told me where to find the ESW yet. We stand with you though as you go through weak moments of loss and longing. This is a safe place for all of us. Make it a good day because you matter.

Evening Pops and friends. Like Runny, I just can't bring myself to say the words. I chose to spend some time curled up watching Wheel of Fortune. They solved romantic puzzles as I ate popcorn and rooted for bankruptcies. It smells like I'll be treated to a Yorkie butt trumpet this evening. I wouldn't say love is in the air around here.

It's not Extra Smart Water, lol, I drink more of the Smart Water.

Well... that's disappointing.

Morning Pops and everyone. Happy Friday. Finally. I woke up to my alarm clock yesterday; in a fog I was wondering why I'd set it to get up on a Saturday but thankful I'd made it to the weekend and that vacation was just one more Monday away... only to realize as the fog lifted that it was in fact Thursday and that I had to get up and get moving for work. Talk about a mood shifter. I'm a little smarter about it this morning (not because of any special water mind you) and managed to avoid all those February 14th revelers.

Mid-forties yesterday and with wind going to feel like -20 today. Hope you all have a great Friday. Make it a good one.

Morning, Pops and Pen Pals. TGIF! Nothing much going on here today. It's going to be a nice day to take a walk and get some exercise. I downloaded a speedometer app to my phone and clocked 34 MPH in my golf cart on level ground. I think I'll use it in my truck today to see how accurate it is. Y'all have a happy Friday and smile a lot.

Good morning Pops and friends. It’s 63 now going up to 72. Yesterday My grandsons were selling chocolate covered almonds for little league fundraiser so I bought 4 . I polished off 2 boxes by myself .The almond part is healthy, the milk chocolate part probably not. The other 2 boxes are in the fridge . Us grandparents make so many sacrifices for our grandkiddos. My wife isn’t much for chocolate sooo...

Morning Pops and those fellow oldsters that have crossed the Weather Line. I don't know when I crossed it but I found myself saying things like "hot enough for ya?" and "don't like the weather? Just wait around, it'll change". I am one more step closer to being my Dad. Standing around, pondering if I've forgotten anything and loudly rattling the change in my pocket while my wife yells at me to "Stop rattling the change in your pocket!!!!!!!" If she was still with me, that's exactly what she'd do too.

Summer is peeking out here in the Hill Has Eyes Country, going to 88 with humidity 85%+ but then returning to a more seasonal pattern but they're already talking about a possible record setter down here this summer.

Finally, a constructive use of a golf course, a mini speedway. Leon, you need a helmet and that one with the two beer can holders over each ear and the straws would be just the ticket.

Are they OK with you taking your truck on the course to pace your golf cart to check the speed? If they are, hell, sell the cart and just play out of your truck where you have more room and can stick a grandkid on top of the cab as a spotter. I needed a spotter when I did play. "Just look to the right, don't bother with the fairway or left. And start with the highest grass and snakiest looking area. If there's an area that looks like a pride of lions could hide there, start there".

I hope everybody had a good day yesterday. We had a quiet Valentines day yesterday. The Wife and I stayed home. My youngest Daughter, and her significant other, went out to celebrate so we had the boys last night. A lot of cookies and Disney Movies, LOL...... We will go out and Celebrate on Saturday. It's a little late but I think it will be a more enjoyable experience for the both of us.

Afternoon and TGIF Pops and friends! It's down right tolerable outside right now. A street sweeper just came down the street. I thought that's great! They're cleaning our street but he just left a huge dust cloud. That dirt was fine where it was at without being distributed. I don't understand the purpose of it now. It's making a second pass! More dirt in the air. They need water and Comet. Time to venture out and see what kind of damage I can cause. Have a great Friday everyone!

Lol Xelda. I noticed the same thing about 3 weeks ago. There was definitely no dust going into the hopper
