FEATURED Morning Pops!

Hey everyone! Just letting you all know I think you're all great. Monday I had a heart attack and it took the doctor a couple of hours to clear out the blockage and put a stint in. According to him that usually takes 10-20 minutes.... So I'm feeling pretty fortunate to be alive.

I got out of the hospital today and am feeling alright. Love to you all!

It’s amazing what doctors can do nowadays. Great to hear you are feeling alright.

I'm so glad you are still with us! BUT who gave you permission to have this heart attack? I'm going to need to have some words with them. Don't mess with the Honky!!!!!

I had to take care of bidness before wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Here's wishing each one of you your heart's desire for this year. I'm hoping at least one of you wants a Cowboy's Super Bowl. I know we are under the Jerry Jones affliction, but I can dream. I am shamefully rooting for other teams this Super Bowl that have intelligent owners that hired good coaches and GMs. This would be a good year for the Bills to win, don't you think? I should have stopped before getting into football. Love y'all!

So good to hear from you!

Rough end of last year and beginning of this year for my family… hoping for a better 2026 going forward!!

I'm not sure who it was that gave the permission, but it's obvious the Lord wasn't done with me here. Maybe it was a pity rescue to make sure I lived to see another Cowboys SB. hahah Thanks, Xelda. I hope you're doing well!

Here is hoping with all my heart that all of you stay warm through the coming storms. We're supposed to have some northern weather down here. Possible outages. That would mean no electric blanket or microwave. I'm not sure I'd survive that. I've been doing inventory of my blankets and throws. I've got a few of those, so I might stay warm and I've got graham crackers. I'll be alright after all. I don't know what I was worried about. I'm glad I talked to y'all.

Did I tell you about my Canadian coat? I realize it gets seriously cold there, but I get cold too. I wore it to a doctor's visit one rare day when it was snowing here. I got on the highway in rush hour traffic and started sweating. I couldn't get the coat off so I had to drive with the windows down and sunroof open. I almost cut the a/c on but the open car during snow would have to do. I still have the coat but never wore it again. Maybe I'll wear it if I'm in Arkansas during the winter.

Good luck with your weather survival! I'd let you borrow my generator, but shipping would cost so much, it'd be cheaper for you to buy one down there!

It's 8° here right now, and supposed to drop to 1° but 6 a.m. (3 hours from now), so I guess I have to bundle up this morning.

I ditched electric blankets for a bamboo material with glass beads inside weighted blanket. It's FANTASTIC for keeping you warm in the cold, and is fine in summer too. My son uses his year round and I use mine from October to March. You should consider it because it works even when there's no power!

Good afternoon, Pops, Coachadooles and all my Popsadoodles. I feel a twinge of guilt knocking the new member out of the prominent spot. Oh well, I'll recover. I wanted to check on all of you and make sure you're ok. I'm alive and kicking (just not too high). After mu bout with starvation, I can't get enough to eat now. I'm gaining strength a little at a time, so yay me.

I'm not into anything exciting so nothing I can add except my many YouTube rabbit holes. There are some imaginative people out there. Some put Halloween masks on their chihuahuas and turned them loose in the house. A whole lot of cats have freaked out at supper time. Kibble flying everywhere. They also filmed them at the vet about to get a shot. Those little dogs can really scream and sometimes faint. Then there's the optical illusion rugs. Cats lose their cool on those. Check it out if you need a laugh.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hey kid! Glad you've got your appetite back, but don't overdo it so much that you can't type with your little sausage fingers!

I've seen a couple of those videos, where the cats think they're going to fall in. Funny stuff!
