Trolling around on the Texans board, they overwhelmingly don't want Tony. They also basically compare Rick Smith to Jerrys ******** son in the GM world. But a Lot of them thought they gave away Osweiller and got a 2nd FROM Cle. Wah wahhh

Ha, they thought they got a 2nd for Osweiler. Man I'd hate to be one of those guys and reread the article and see that they gave away their 2nd rounder and their starter.

And how bad does Osweiler suck that the team trading him has to throw in a 2nd round pick for the team to take him. Today has been a weird day, very weird day

I'm not denying that, I'm just saying he's arrogant and he's been saying there was zero chance about getting romo. Not saying I dislike him, he's just so sure of himself then turns out wrong quite often
I tend to agree with him that it's no chance the Texans are trading for him. Hes wrong just like others. But he's right more than Hes wrong. He is arrogant though lol.

No team wants a starting QB who doesnt want them for starters. The GM would have to be brain dead to make trade for a player to lead his team that doesnt want to, orwouldnt fully have his heart in it...or who may not even agree to a new contract.

And of course, retirement is a very real option at this late stage....though it wouldnt have come anywhere near that.

Part of this was Fisher just saying the other obvious part; that Jerry (right or wrong) is not going to screw Romo.

So he has real power and the extra power grated by Jerry in good-will.

So in other words, Romo has more cards because supposedly Jerry gave him his.

They are idiots if they dont want Romo. With That Defense, running back, and reciever, it could be the best team Romo ever played on.

With Denver and Houston wanting Romo I say we get better then just a 3rd round pick. Comes down to who wants him more. I could easily see a first rounder or more by the time is settled
If the Cowboys get offered a 4th they better take it because that is the best offer they will ever get. I'd like to say 3rd but just don't see that happening. Would love to be proven wrong.

I agree. After yesterday it looked like we would get nothing. We also lost our 5th, which is needed, for Cassel.

Why would any Cowboys fan spend decades listnening to a Houston homer who blindly discredits the Cowboys? Im not making an argument for or against our own beat writers as Im fairly indifferent to them, but Ive heard more than enough inaccurate anti Cowboy agenda crap come out of his mouth to know hes not worth my time.
Well, I lived in the Houston area most of my life. Most of my life there was no internet lol so he was what I listened to and read.

As far as him blindly discrediting the cowboys, that's just not true. He gets bashed by cowboy, titan and Texan fans because each fan base thinks he's a homer for the other fan base. That means he's doing his job right lol. He grew up a cowboy fan, been writing in Houston for over 40 years. So he has has ties with the titans and does a show their once a week. Of course ties to the Texans. No ties to the cowboys except him growing up a fan. Hes fair with all teams. Fans just tend to listen and hear what they want lol.

Romo's played 5 games in 2 years. They aren't going to pull a Mike Ditka for him. People forget the knuckleheaded plays and injuries Romo's also known for in Dallas. Revisionist history is hitting full stride today.

I seriously doubt Houston wants to gamble again on a young guy that's shown promise in limited playing time after getting burned by Brock Lossweiler.

You go after the proven QB albeit with questionable health issues
