My ex-wife talked me and we had our 13 year old son also into watching Brokeback Mountain after the film we were suppose to see was sold out of 2 theatres. She telling me all the movie reports it is a really good movie. I told her if it gets too creepy, me and the son will find another movie. I think we may have stayed 5 minutes into the movie. The beginning before anything physical Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhall meet for the first time and just shake hands . I told her "That's It,for me" !!! Me and the son snuck into "Final Destination 3" . Thank God!!! My Ex-Wife stayed and watched Brokebutt Mountain and she said we were not the only ones who left the theatre. I guess that's why she is my Ex-Wife, she was a flake.

Walked out on "Year One" Jack Black and can't think of the skinny other guy(He played in Zombieland). That movie was just stupid and so badly written, directed, and even edited. The jokes were awful. I had 2 sons and had to endure Transformers for them after we switched.

Hated "Cry Baby" stupid film maybe stayed 25 minutes. I always after that I avoided any John Waters film because I knew it would suck even as much they try to hype it as good.

I went to see that at a matinee. There were about a half dozen women and me in the theater. There were only as couple of scenes that were Ledge and Gyllenhaal kissing. That did not interest me. But the story line, and especially toward the end turned out to be a really good film. After the Gyllenhaal character died the remorse of Ledger was powerful.

I don't normally care for films of this nature, but truthfully the ending was terribly sad.

If I pay to see a movie I'm going to sit through it even if it's a train wreck.

I haven't been to a movie theater in years though. I don't have to worry about walking out because I'm not walking in.
Hollywood will never get a single penny from me again (political reasons)

If I watch a movie now it's for free on my firestick.

Star Trek The Motion Picture.
I was 9, I loved the original series, I begged Dad to take Me to see it.
I was expecting an extra long, extra exciting episode, I got what seemed like an eternity of boredom.
Take it form this Trek fan who was 14 at the time ST:TMP came out:

Practically all blame can be placed on Robert Wise. Wise was brought in to direct. He knew virtually nothing about the series and he did not try learning anything about it either. He squeezed Gene Roddenberry almost completely out of the production.

At the time, the only thing I knew about Wise was that he was a big name director who made The Andromeda Strain, which I enjoyed a lot. What I did not know (or chose to ignore most likely) was his best work was in musicals like West Side Story. I still enjoyed the movie, mostly because it breathed new life into the franchise, but it could have been presented WAY better.

Even though I cannot forgive Wise’s poor effort, his is not the worst oversight of a Star Trek film in my opinion. That distinction is reserved for William Shatner’s spit-and-polished Star Trek V: The Final Frontier—with real emphasis on the word ‘spit’.

My fav walkout? Don’t recall what film now. But was on a date with one girl, and my girlfriend (whom trying to breakup with at the time) shows up and I’m stuck in the middle while they start chatting it up...I suddenly had a serious case of nausea or whatever dumb excuse I made up,and waited outside in the car.

Other movies I have turned off the dvd or walked out of the theatre.

*That remake of the "1975 Rollerball" that LL Cool J. in the 2000's film. That was awful!!!

*"DeathRace" remake was awful.Stallone was a way much better Machine Gun Joe Paturbo

*Seen on TV that "Oz the Powerful". Just can't sit through it. I am so burned out on Tim Burton

*Most any Ben Affleck movie I try to avoid. Only movie I thought he was half way decent was "Gone Girl"

I'm pedantic by nature.
If I'd have been in charge, the Enterprise would still be in Space Dock, undergoing an exhaustive pre-flight checklist.
And miss the chance of seeing Captain Styles' face when the Excelsior did not go into trans warp??? Scotty must have a word with you. :p

Here's hoping you are referring to The Search For Spock. ;)
