is at his " Eddie George " stage in his career. Murray's prime ended Week 12 of last year and the decline looks to be very steep and very fast.

I wouldn't be surprised if Matthew's winds up the starter sometime this season and Murray and plays 2 years of his contract.

Some of us here called it. :) Although I think we can all agree, Chip's ego caused him to let go of two pro bowl guards and thought that he could replace them with guys off the street.

Still, I can't hold back my delight. After two games, 21 rushes, 11 yards. Think he might be regretting his decision?

7 yards rushing in total by philly ... As a Cowboy fan the 2 players I always feared most over the last few years was Maclin and McCoy .... They were guys with a lot of speed, philly seems to lack speed at this point. If the boys didn't commit so many penalties this would have been over by the 4th quarter, as it was a very undermanned Cowboys team went to philly and did on a number on them ... And how good will this D be once Hardy, McCLean and Gregory are back on the field.

21 rushes, 11 yards so far this season (0.52 YPC).

I won't jump to conclusions yet and suggest he might be on the decline at this point, but that's rather abysmal, below average guards or otherwise.

I do fear Jordan Mathews. I think he is gonna be a stud. He is it right now out of there skill players. I think Agolor is a poor man's Eddie Royal

Jordan matthews looks like Terrance Williams, he could be productive but a true #1 receiver he is not.

I, personally, don't think Murray is on the decline. He's a very good back. But, he also is a product of the system. The system Philly runs is no good for DeMarco's running style. I agree what Deion Sanders said today and that's Chip signing DeMarco just to keep him from Dallas instead of being a good fit for his system. And it's backfiring on him.

You can't really blame Murray for tonight after all our enforcer practically ripped his arm out of it's socket on the sidelines

lol..I still don't know what that was all about.

If he is done or in decline, it's spells the end of Chippie in Philly. Can't afford the long term cap hit.

True...I think McCoy was a big loss though and always seemed a factor, I don't think Murray was a worry to our D.

Man I had people on this site arguing to no end that Chip's system demands N / S runners.

Looks like the McCoy/bush types are better suited for that offense with their finesse styles. Murray doesn't have much "Quick hip" wiggle, and frankly neither does Ryan Matthews. One has to question what the Eagles were thinking
