If he is done or in decline, it's spells the end of Chippie in Philly. Can't afford the long term cap hit.
If only chip can hang on till next preseason . His excellence shines there

In fairness to Murray I don't really think he's declined. Just a terrible fit for their system. Dude is a down hill back. Personified. Trying to make him an East/West back is just stupid. He's still a hell of a back and at a lower price would've loved him to back in Dallas.
agree ,he is not a shotgun RB at all.it was obvious to everybody but Chip kelly.
this!!!!
Did Matthew's even play today because I swear didn't hear his name once?
at his " Eddie George " stage in his career. Murray's prime ended Week 12 of last year and the decline looks to be very steep and very fast.
I wouldn't be surprised if Matthew's winds up the starter sometime this season and Murray and plays 2 years of his contract.
Philly brought Murray and Bradford in, so when Chippy bolts midseason, they will have the tools to convert to a traditional offense
I don't think hes done by any stretch. His line was terrible today.
How could tell with that piss poor blocking by the OL?

Be had worse blocking here earlier in hs career and did just fine
I don't recall him getting hit 5 yards deep in the backfield as much as he has in the past two weeks.
