I hope Philly eats the big cap hit at the end of the year and cuts Murray. Dallas can then sign him to a cheap contract along with with drafting a running back for the rushing attack in 2016.
Why would you want him back? He is proving that is was the line and not him ....... draft a good downhill back and let them shine behind this young line.
That was 3 plays. That is the OLs fault but he looked bad even when he wasnt getting hit in the backfield. He has played with worse lines and done very well
is at his " Eddie George " stage in his career. Murray's prime ended Week 12 of last year and the decline looks to be very steep and very fast.
I wouldn't be surprised if Matthew's winds up the starter sometime this season and Murray and plays 2 years of his contract.
don't know. I' sure Chip wanted Murray to make a point. He did, that he is done. LOL. I love that big contract they owe him.
Don't think he's done. Like Broddous said he is in the wrong system. Chip's system need the RB to start and stop and go East/West. Murray needs to go down hill and N/S.
Can't blame him for taking the money.
Why would you want him back? He is proving that is was the line and not him ....... draft a good downhill back and let them shine behind this young line.
What amazes me is that Chip didn't know that. It's his freaking offense.
He has been hit behind the line much more than 3 times in the last two games....you can't have 21 carries for a 11 yards without a whole lot of negative plays. Negative plays usually happen when you get hit behind the line of scrimmage
Why would you want him back? He is proving that is was the line and not him ....... draft a good downhill back and let them shine behind this young line.
Then you have to question his decision making going to Philly. He will languish in mediocrity and be mis-used until he gets cut and he will then be in sharp decline.
He got hit behind the line a whole lot if not more in 2011 and 2012 behind our horrible lines.
He wanted to win a championship remember ?
And I think he knew that, he just went with the money.
