Guy was classy when he was here and wanted to stay. Had he gone out of the division or conference he would have still been respected by the fan base. Going to the Eagles will reduce that respect but the fans will get over it.
he should be respected more for taking less money to be with a competitor. why would he be more respected for taking a boatload of cash from oakland or jacksonville and being a loser for the rest of his career? screw our front office....

You will not find a fan who hates Philly more then I do but I have to admit, I am going to have a really hard time not cheering for Murray. I always thought he was a class guy. Smart, understood how to treat people and how to conduct himself. Just a good guy, top to bottom. I'll do it but it won't be easy for me.

You should read the article about him sleeping with his OU teammates wife his exteamate probably would not have the same feeling about DM

One of the classiest guys thats ever been a Cowboy.

Thankfully we have a wife-beater taking his place with the cap

I hope we collect a child beater soon so we can actually get a trophy instead of fumbling it away in Lambeau field

Guy handled everything as well as you could expect. It's just unfortunate that Philly was the only decent team that showed legitimate interest.

There's nothing decent about Philly!

I read it. I also read the following statements from the ex-teamate that retracted the accusations.

I really don't want to get into all that stuff, but there were damning texts being shown on the internet.
He may not have done the deed, but I fully believe the woman was cheating on that guy.

The retraction didn't feel fully honest to me, but that's nothing more than a feeling.

I can't say I know enough about the situation but I don't really think it matters. You never know what happens in situations like that. All I can do is judge him on what we've seen from him since he's been here in Dallas and based on that, form an opinion. Where that is concerned, my opinion of Murray is pretty high.

I can certainly agree with you.

I think that Demarco Murray going the extra mile to say thank you to the Cowboys' fans, is stand up and shouldn't be demeaned by an unappreciative group of fans who but three years ago were wanting to collect funds for a bill board demeaning Jerry Jones.

This was a class act, plain and simple...and a fan with sportsmanship can see just that.
