Murray won't get a big offer anywhere

But he's only 25, and he doesn't have Murray's wear and tear.

Maybe the Colts want Ingram?

Again, just how many options will Murray have?

He can go to the following competitive teams and probably get paid more than 4 years 16 mill.

Indy
Seattle
Arizona
Ravens
Chargers
Giants
Falcons

I'm leaving a bunch of other teams out.

I said leading rusher, not huge career. Other ppl being good doesn't discredit what he accomplished. Likewise for Murray

Oh, then LOTS of running backs could have led the league in rushing behind that 90s offensive line.

If Emmitt was drafted by Seattle like Chris Warren, we might barely remember him now.

I think that's even more incentive for them to do it.

What better way to wash away the stink from that deal than to sign "the NFL's leading rusher"?

Draft a stud for cheap. That's how.

Norm Hitzges brought up an interesting name.

Mark Ingram.

Dallas might want to go there. Talented, inexpensive, lots of tread left, and averaged 4.3 yards behind an awful line.

I think he's an 'OK' option, but I wouldn't be interested in paying him big money by any stretch.

While he's a capable back, he's not special in any category and lacks breakaway speed.

He's on my list, but sure not at the top.

Several of those teams have cap issues and offensive line problems. An expensive running back will fix nothing for them, especially when they can be had for cheap.

They offered 4 years and $16 million already. They want him, but at the right price. Who will really offer more?

As I said, I think the Colts will.

If not them, the clueless clowns in Cleveland have money to burn.

They just have to pay more than 4 years 16 million.

I'm leaving out the non competitive teams also.

Some would argue that, behind this line, he's better than Murray.

He was hugely better than Murray in college.

Says who? Murray can make more in endorsements with a star on his helmet than a horse shoe.

It'll take a LOT more to get him to leave here, I think.

You don't think he'd like to stay here and run behind this line? Yes, he sure would.

And yet the Cowboys shouldn't?

Your wishes and hopes are clear here.

My hopes are he stays at a reasonable figure. If he chases the money, I want Peterson, Gurley, or Gordon.

Please don't use endorsements as a reason to why Murray should take a low ball offer and stay lol.

It won't take him a lot more to leave. A decent offer gets him easily. An insult of an offer causes him to look else where.

But if he was as eager as you think, or felt as you do. A deal would have already been done.

He's going to take a look and the Cowboys are going to let him.

Endorsements. Cost of Living in Texas. Comfort of staying where he is. High profile contender. Tremendous offensive line. Great friends in Garrett, Witten, Romo, and Dez. A life-long career after playing in Dallas. A shot at historical end to career.

Yeah, that offsets a few dollars. And Murray isn't the typical stupid athlete that doesn't think about these things. He's a smart dude.

That's true, but Ingram was good this year in the pros. He's like Murray in that way. Came on later.

He's not the only option. Ryan Mathews, Shane Vereen, Stevan Ridley, Ben Tate, Knoshown Moreno, Chris Polk, Bobby Rainey, Justin Forsett and so on. It will still be a buyer's market.

The Raiders, Colts, Jags and Jets, all with holes (Colts obviously fewer), young QB's and cap space will be all over him.

Why match a young QB with an old running back?

Draft a young one for cheap.
