My burning hate for Roy Williams is growing

RW is a good WR; not a great WR. In several games this year, he has dropped critical passes that he should have caught. I'm tired of hearing that Romo doesn't throw the ball correctly to him. If you watch any game, you'll see RWs match great catches all the time. Pick any QB in the league and tell me that every pass to their WRs are always perfect. It's crap. RW needs to start playing like a #1 WR.

After his rib injury, I can understand it would take him time to get things right, but there is no excuses now. He's dropped important passes the last couple of weeks. IMO the INT was his fault as well. It wasn't like the pass was 5 feet over his head. RW needs to step up and be more aggressive. Enough of the poor pass junk.

RW......STOP SMILING! CATCH THE BALL!!!!!

What do you guys want him to do, start crying on the field? Oh, I get it...hey, let's all start crying every time we mess up or, in this case, when the db clearly interferes, causing problems. I don't understand some of you. He drops the ball on occasion, but that will eventually be solved. BTW, does he not command db's to shadow him? Does he not block well downfield? Give me a break. Stop crying, and let things run their course. If he does not live up the potential after this year, then perhaps the organization can correct the problem.

And, I forgot to add... Why the UT bashing by some of you? Had some of you attended such a school, a major Division I program with one hell of a fan base, you would understand... I give him credit for having pride in his school.

You know who I'm starting to really hate? Besides several people on the coaching staff. Roy Williams.

While Safety Roy Williams sucked, I never hated him. At least he gave effort in his suckiness. I'm beginning to have an extreme hate building up in me for this piece of **** WR Roy Williams. The Cowboys need to put his *** on notice. ****ing bench him for a game.

:bang2: :yousuck:

Yeah I really hated him when he caught that touchdown pass.

I keep thinking to myself this game is where Roy turns the corner.. I'm going to stop trying to convince myself.

Yeah, after that touchdown I was thinking the same thing. It's just one of those things. If the guy could just play he might be alright.

:laugh2:

It's half romo's fault.

Four, you are the only one among the fans I see posting to defend Roy. Troy, Michael, and even Deion have called him out. National media guys are saying he should be benched.

So....are you related or something?

I mean how long are we seriously stuck with this guy? The reason Romo doesnt target him is because he can't get seperation due to pathetic route running and no quickness.

While I do not have the energy to hate... I do think that Roy is underperforming and that something should be done before it truly costs us a game

It's not UT bashing. The Cowboys have ex UT players on the team. It's suspicion that the defenders of Williams are UT fans and that their allegiance to UT is the only reason for their dismissive attitude about his shortcomings

.

completely disagree with the thread.

I put it equally on tony and on roy.

Romo is playing lights out, but there is something not right between those two.

Yeah Roy catching the ball.

And Roy, stop with all the Texas Longhorns stuff. No one cares. This isnt college its the NFL.

Grow up.

It's not UT bashing. It's Roy bashing. He's not in college anymore...it's almost like he's trying to make people like him because he played for Texas and remind them of what he used to do in college.

Problem is this is the NFL, not college.

Bob Sanders doesnt get up and do the Hawk Chomp every time he makes a play.

Roy has a Texas backdrop when doing interviews, wears Texas hats during introductions, flashes the Hook EM sign everytime he scores...

It's just really old. No other player in the league does anything like this, no matter what college they went to.

before it is all said and done Roy will make a huge catch for the Cowboys. mark my words!
I support all the players on the team and hate non of them. while wearing the star they get my full support. what good does it do booing your own players, sure doesnt make them play better if anything it puts more pressure on them. how many people here have a bad day at work and get booed.

If we don't perform as expected, we don't get booed, but we get fired.

Roy grinning like the Joker after butterfingering that easy sideline route pass just chaps my butt. You can take a player out of a sorry organization like Detroit but you can't take the Detroit out of the player. JOKER is too used to half ***ing it and it shows big time in BIG D.

Bench JOKER and play someone who has desire and puts out legitimate effort.

JOKER is paid $9mm a year; fine. Play him on ALL special teams and as the third WR. Humiliate him and then cut his sorry skillet-handed Detroit attitude butt as soon as it is fiscally sane to do so.

Top three most targeted Cowboy's WR as of week 15

Witten: 114 (catches 72.8% of passes)

Austin: 107 (catches 60.7% of passes)

RW: 86 (catches 44.2% of passes)

Has Four had a post since this one? Because this totally kills his entire argument.

I don't hate Roy, I wish him the best, but he needs to regain some focus. Those drops aren't on Romo, anyone saying so is a total Roy homer. I'm not even sure how else to put it to make it anymore clear, go back and look at those drops and tell me with a straight face that Austin or Crayton would have dropped those balls.

Hint: They wouldn't have. ESPECIALLY that 3rd down play last night.

SMH.... These guys can't win. Roy isn't causing distraction like many others last year. Although I am still unsure on how I feel about T.O. being cut I still was fumed that it was done... He dropped a few balls true but he also made catches that was deemed noncatchable... Relax as long as we are winning why complain?
