My case for Suh

so rumor is Suh is looking for jj watt money. I'm ok with that, the guy is a game changer. Now I'm not 100% ok with his antics of stomping people, but language to address that in the contract can be implemented.

If we sign Suh that gets Hayden out of there and drastically improves the interior. That leaves one hole on our line at LDE... Or does it. I believe mincey can handle that.

That brings us into the draft able
to draft BPA. Though that still leaves us with CB and FS holes. But in all reality we can't have it all. Suh will demand double teams constantly which will free up Crawford and Lawrence and hopefully create more pressure to mask some secondary weakness.

The capt hit for Watt is around $12 to $13 million a year. Can Dallas absorb that type of hit for Suh and still sign the other players they need?

I'll admit I'm not a cap guru. But from basic search it may be possible. I know we have DeZ to sign as well. But when a team is in that "window" all stops must be pulled. We can still utilize a good draft to assist.

When you can get a game changer at your weakest position that ultimately is one of the most important on D. I say you go for it

No. It's not gonna happen, nor should it.

I don't understand why you would think this? I hear people raving for greg hardy. But Suh gets in trouble on the field because of stupid decisions and we say no?

Perhaps he slaps his old lady around and we warm up to him?

Trust me I know Suh comes with baggage. But we got many players with baggage before and benefited from their performance

It has nothing to do with baggage. I'm fine with it if he could be had for cheap. He wants mega dollars, and that's just not in the cards for us with the other things we are looking to do.

I believe the philosophy they have claimed they are taking is to have a rotation of good pass rushers like the Seahawks. Not one big money guy that makes you skimp on the rest. So it would surprise me if they pay that kind of money. Although if they are going to pay that kind of money it would likely be for a dominant 3 tech like Suh. Had Melton had a dominant year that might have paid him that 9 million a year contract.

In a word, YES

Dallas can get upwards of 50m in cap space with cutting Carr, Melton and Free and re-doing Romo, TSmith and Witten.

Dez gets 10m, Murray 4m, Parnell, McClain, Carter, Beasley 3m each, Leary, Moore, Weems 1m each=29m

Suh gets 10m, that's 40m. Leave some money for draft picks. practice squad, the full 53 man roster and injury replacement and you're still under 50m.

You do realize our Dline is light years away from the Seahawks.

These are encouraging numbers. I still don't think we keep Murray. But even still encouraging

Money is the only case against. Below is what I hold against him. Wrecking that Chevelle SS. OK, I hold his choice in rims against him too.

You do realize our Dline is light years away from the Seahawks.

It's not like they skimped either

Avril 7.5m, Bennett 6m, Membane 5.5m and they just lost Bryant and Clemons this year.

Add in about 6 draft picks over the last 3 years and they invested heavily into their DL
