My Idea to Solve the Redzone

i have a couple recommendations for Linehan; first he should run more bunched or trip sets, secondly I would run a diamond backfield with Morris, McFadden and Zeke; that way any one can be getting the ball. Lastly I would have Dez return punts, he's the best punt returner and should take a couple to the house. Thoughts

If we're going with suggestions, maybe getting rid of those late drive holding penalties. That play where he calls the holding penalty doesn't seem to work.
This was my immediate thought as well. If they run more in the RZ, they eliminate the % of penalties or negative yardage plays (holding, sacks...etc.). They seem to give up on the run on the other side of the 50 yard line. Don't think it's necessary to pass as much and more effective run.

I don't see the risk/reward in putting Dez, or anyone valuable for that matter, on PR as it appears 50+% of them result in a flag anyways. This isn't unique to the Cowboys though as it seams PR are where the refs are making their penalty quotas this season.

The play calling was sound. We got in our own way. Missed fg's, poor execution, crippling penalties were the issue. Let's keep in mind TB had been giving up 12ppg in their last 5 while forcing a league leading 14 turnovers I believe. The game shouldn't have been as close as it was but not bad considering. We must stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

Odell and brown both return punts, it would def be worth it come playoff time. You saw how electric he was in college and when he use to do it for us

I disagree, penalties happen all the time. Did you not see Pitt complete a 2nd and 16 against cincy for 6. Good teams overcome them, it's a weak excuse

I don't think it's wise the Giants use Odell but they're much more challenged than us on offense so I suppose they feel it's worth it. JMO

A thousand times, this. The penalties from our oline are largely what's killing scoring drives.

I understand your point for the entire regular season but playoff time you have to do it. Anything to give your team an advantage

Love Dez, but I don't think he's that guy anymore. I have no problem with Lucky back there.

My idea would be to get rid of the stupid penalties by discipline and accountability

Oh wait, I forgot Jerry is GM and Garrett is HC

Oh well, let's come up with some other idiotic ideas like more jet sweeps? How does that sound guys?

Dez and Dak need to get on the same page with fade route. For whatever reason, Dak has no idea how to throw them.

You add in that weapon, and we're a lot more dangerous.
