My Idea to Solve the Redzone

Dak can make any throw in the NFL. Dez got too deep on that back shoulder in the EZ, & didn't come back to the ball.

I'm not saying he can't throw a fade, physically, but he's not good at it. That ball was about 4 yards too far away from the sideline.

For what it's worth, Tony wasn't good at it for a good chunk of his career either.

You can't focus on one RB and you can hit the other two on playaction. Even Dak can run with the ball. Defenses would be on their heels

Stupid holding penalties are killing us. Free grabbed the guy's face mask when the play was already past him? Duh. T-Rex gets lazy at times, & doesn't move his feet. That's why he was forced to arm-bar Spence. By the way, Spence was my second favorite pick for the second round last April. (WAY ahead of JS) He sure would look great with a star on his helmet, eh? he is safeties rolled, dez wins off the line of scrimmage and throws his hand up. If the ball is thrown when dez is on the 19 its a walk in touchdown. Dez won at the line and there is no safety with a chance to get there. All dak has to do is throw that up and let dez run under it.

That should have been a touchdown instead he dumped it off to zeke and settled for a touchdown. IF we lost the game 27-26 this would be one of the reasons we lost.

Sometimes you have to let it go and throw the ball in this situation especially to Dez Bryant. Its a game clincher at that point.

Cowboys have some things to clean up in the redzone. All in all I have been pretty happy it is not easy facing all these top defenses they Cowboys have faced. I was overall happy with the team in this past game given the play from the past 2 weeks. Seems to me both sides of the ball are starting to gel.

Compare it to how Romo handled a nearly identical situation in the same spot on the field almost vs IND in 2014. Dez is a TD machine and you throw him the ball...Dez is in even tighter coverage vs. IND and romo sees the safety in the middle of the field worried about witten, Dez gets a step and romo throws it up to him to make a play.

This has to happen going forward or we will lose from kicking field goals, and for anyone that brings up penalties which is a problem all of a sudden the drive before this vs indy dallas had a td taken away because of holding and romo found williams for a td a player later anyway. I hope to see Dak give dez a chance in these situations.

Stop committing penalties would solve a lot of the redzone issues. Penalties killed out first two drives on Sunday. We stop ourselves most of the time.

Dez is not open in that sequence and basically all of the other receivers would be better options on that play; although, none of them are as open as it might appear on a still photo.

The only real option is the receiver at the 23 yard line.

The bottom photo is after the ball is not coming to Dez and the DB is already pulling up.

I have seen terrance williams a number of times left alone one on one with no safety help and he is running away and dak doesnt even look at him. I am hoping he starts to hit these because when he does this offense will be impossible to defend. If Dak connects with dez in this situation vs the giants in the playoffs it will back them off some. He has to show he will make this play imo. When he does I don't know how you defend this offense.

no. Dez is open right when he hits the 20 as he beats the press, wins to the inside and throws his hand up. there is no safety there. Check my other post with the comparison to how romo handled that, He sees dez win with a safety in the middle of the field and throws it up.

That play is open in the nfl and for Dez Bryant it is how he made that big payday.

Another suggestion? Don't take out Zeke. Keep him in there when in the redzone.

If we attempt a pass go with play action with Dak rolling out. I don't know why we take out Zeke when were in the redzone? Its just an easy giveaway that were not running the ball.

What? It would be way easier to hammer the ball into the endzone with Dunbar. J/K. Yeah, I was surprised to see Zeke on the sideline when we were in the redzone.

Dak's job is not on the line and has not been since he came back to beat the eagles. once romo had that press conference it has been Dak's job and a non issue no matter what Jerry says to the fan.

I am just pointing out how Dez has been so dominant and that situation presented itself sunday and dak dumped it to zeke. I hope he lets it rip going forward to dez. It could be the difference between winning and losing.
