Bosa #s are pretty good--considering the attn he received. But it's not his productivity that lessens his value. I've said it time and time again, but Bosa's intangibles are very questionable. Not #4 worthy, that's for sure.

Suspended once for drugs, kicked out of another game for dirty play (the final game of the year no less), immature personality and questionable effort.

The total picture of Bosa is that he's a good football prospect with a lot of red flags. And he's not good enough of a football prospect to overlook those red flags.

You don't know that he was suspended for drugs and he has never been noted as having failed a drug test. He was kicked out of a game for a hard hit that in eyes was questionable. It would have at worst been 15 yards in the NFL.

He is lauded as having a nonstop motor and seeing how he reacted to double team after double team and how obviously he trains I find your assertion specious at best.

Don't foget his 57 qb pressures and 29 hurries in 2015-first and second most in college football despite all the attention. Guy is a load to deal with.

Not sure about the nonstop motor. I've read multiple reports saying inconsistent effort

Joey Bosa (Ohio State):

Amid reports that he is slowly losing stock with teams that need a defensive end such as the Dallas Cowboys, Bosa was undeniably an impact player at the collegiate level. He has tangibles that will translate very well to the NFL level and that’s why he has (and is projected to remain) a high first-round pick. He is physically built for the NFL and has superior core strength which helps him get off with explosive force.

Dallas Cowboys 2016 Draft Targets: Ohio State DE Joey Bosa

It’s that force that gives him a split-second advantage over a blocker and helps him become very disruptive in the offensive backfield. With elite hands and very functionally sound, Bosa is viewed by many as the technician of the bunch.

I'd like to see the plays he takes off then. Is there a game I can watch?

Google of "Joey Bosa motor" read "white-hot,' 'very good,' "relentless,' never a problem,' 'crazy,' and 'high' in the reports from the first page.

I want Bosa if one of the top 2 QBs isn't there, but I do agree he could be a little more like Dodd on his effort last year.

The guy is good at everything but isnt elite at anything. Hes nfl ready and can focus on improving rather than being one dimensional and improving himself in order to not be a liability.

Bosa reminds me more of the Seahawks Michael Bennett, one of the top 2-3 DEs in the league. Bennett ran a 5.13 forty at the combine. Seriously, I'm not sure why fans constantly dis Bosa by saying he's not so and so....almost always lamenting that he's not the speed rusher who is actually a 3-4 OLB.

Tell me, who are the top three to four 4-3 DEs in the NFL. How does Bosa compare to those players? Not how does he compare to Von Miller, Justin Houston, or Khalil Mack.

Are we not happy with Jared Allen at DE?

I believe a couple of weeks ago, I commented that he is another Greg Ellis. (the player)

Power to the People. Fat People.

With the hundreds and thousands of Cowboy fans that post on these boards, I would be shocked if I were the first to make this comparison.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on Bosa. We are clearly not seeing the same player. I watched most of the 2015 games on draft breakdown. I don't see these attributes--not on a regular basis. I see a good player who doesn't always go 100%.

I will say that you're persuasive in your support of him. You certainly make a lot of good points
