Just thought I would add my two cents.

When I got home the first thing I tol doctor32 was that had romo played we would have scored in the high 30s and this would have been a blowout. Now I do understand they would have called a different defensive game though.

Like theogt said, There were wr open everywhere. Williams, owens and austin when he played were just wide open. I think Brad was just late in his reads to be honest. A couple of his throws were so poor looking because he threw the ball so late.

I cant blame brad johnson for being brad johnson. He didnt turn the ball over and that was a huge part of the win.

I dont see any reason to play bollinger. If johnson gets his read correct a little faster I think he would be fine. Either way, johnson knows the offense and knows when the play is dead and to throw it away and cover it up and take the sack. I think really, that is all they can ask for right now. I think one of the things people are forgetting is that brooks bollinger doesnt have much of an arm either. Watching him in warmups every week, he doesnt appear to have much more of an arm than johnson.

The two best things I saw all game was that we Stopped the run. Just suffocated it for the most part and that we continued to run the ball no matter what it produced. We need to play that physical style of football right now and continuing to give it to barber paid off.

Our secondary I think got bailed out by garcia and gruden refusing to throw deep. There were plays to be made it looked like to me down the field. I dont know why they didnt, but I am sure glad they didnt.

Our defense has to stop the 2nd down celebrating. Jenkins, james, hamlin, tank and a few others make routine tackles on 2nd down and then get up and dance like they made a goaline stand in the superbowl. Especially jenkins. You cant celebrate a 2nd down tackle and then give up third downs repeatedly. It just makes you look foolish.

It was a pretty funny thing during warmups. Romo snuck out of the tunnel in street clothes and a hat and no one noticed him....usually the place goes crazy when he comes out, but no one saw him. Then Bennet and williams were on teh field getting loose and williams was running, and everytime he ran by bennet he flashed the horns at bennet!!

Bennet walked over to a guy and his kids wearing a&m stuff during warmups and gave them his jacked and some gloves!! Pretty cool of him.

When Tony romo gets healthy and felix and kosier get back, this offense might be incredible. Again , had romo been on the field yesterday we score in the high 30s. Roy williams played alot, I really dont like that austins time is being cut, but he can still make an impact with romo. Its kind of like MIles austin doesnt fit at all with brad. He just cant get him the ball where he ecxels.

Doug williams was on the field during warmups, I was suprised to see that a majority of our players knew him so well. They all were running up to him when they came out to get loose.

and what is with that officiating crew. Patrick crayton calls for a fair catch at the 15, then catches it and runs 5 yards and gets tackled at the 20. No flag is thrown, no penalty enforced yet they mark the ball at the 15 and there is no explanation.

and finally. Marc columbo wanted a piece of somebody, anybody yesterday. Him and derrick brooks got into it on the final play of the 1st qtr. Columbo was ready to kill him. THen owens started in with him. As the teams changed sides during the break the players had to be seperated. Columbo was really ticking tampas D off yesterday.

finally actually, you cant say enough about Marion barber. The man is terrific. I just wish they would rest him a little. 31 touches is too much. This week with the emotion level being so high, choice has to get some touches.

It was a great win to get, now this team is still in it and from what I saw yesterday, if the emotion stays that way, when this offense gets healthy and newman and spencer are back this team could get rolling.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, the ball bounced first, right up to crayton so he took off running with it but the refs blew the whistle (a premature whistle in the NFL? NO WAY!). I think since the refs realized they screwed up by blowing the whistle that they just decided to mark it where he caught it.

I agree though, an explanation was needed.

They did yesterday. I think tampa bailed us out by not throwing the ball down the field.

I think manning will throw for about 325+ next week and 4 touchdowns. They constantly run vertical routes which is something we wont be able to handle with the way they run the ball.

I also forgot to add. The stadium was about to turn on johnson and coach phillips. People who didnt see the flag on barber for the horsecollar were boo'ng and screaming. I cant tell you how many times I heard Just fire him and put bollinger in already..in the first half.

So we should all thank ronde barber for his mistake and jeff garcia for his poor play. It might have given us some life for a few days.

Hopefully Scandrick and Jenkins step up, although that may be a bit much to ask of the two rookies.

I can't wait for the bye week to get people healthy.

I boo'd Johnson pretty much the whole game. It was pathetic.

Actually, I guess I was booing Wade and Garrett for not having Bollinger (or anyone else) ready by this point in the season.
