When the perve calls back ask her to answer it and give it to you. Then you just blow the largest and loudest most pungent fart into the phone *preferably one w/ long duration* and then hold your nose and listen. See what he says or she says.

How un-sexi is that? I would never call someone back who did that to me.

Talk about gross and not cool on the phone.

Problem is, Hos' farts are reportedly of the silent but deadly variety... the worst kind...

Don't let the pride issue make things potentially become worse than they are. Just have ATT change her number and be done with it.

I think you letting this build up is going to cause you guys unwanted stress and potentially serious issues. If you change the number, and only give it out to select people you can eliminate the issue most likely.

Or you could simply swap phones with her, so he calls you every day. Probably won't enjoy that as much.

Another idea, find a really annoying song, and play it every time he calls. Just put the phone up to the speaker(he has to be close to the phone if you hear him breathing) and just blast it every time he calls. He'll probably get tired of that and give up.

This happened to my wife about 25 years ago. She was recently divorced with a kid and this perv kept calling all hours of the day or night. She changed her number and he still kept calling and nobody could figure out how. The police got involved and the moron called from his work number when the police were tracing it. It turned out to be the dad of her daughters friend. She had no idea. Funny thing, I almost dated the guys ex wife before I started dating my current wife. He actually served some serious jail time for stalking. Back in the 80s at that before stalking was what it is now.

Nowadays, it would be tough. I know my son has a phone that when I call, I hear certain music or preprogrammed answer specific for me. Set your wifes phone call to answer specific to blocked calls "this is Lieutenant Hostile with the Arizona State Police, May I help you. " Other than that, just answer her phone whenever he calls. He will get bored with you on the other end.

Done that. The phone numbers all say 0000000000. That is why AT & T and the Police are telling me they can't track this idiot down.

Wish I could help. The only thing I can say is to have a recording of something extremely painful like nails scratching on chalkboard, ear-splitting baby scream, and when she answers the phone to breathing, play that into the microphone. If nothing else, she may be able to damage his eardrums.

This fool better hope I don't order that TrapCall stuff. If I have a name, I guarantee you I can find him and make him regret this.

I don't think that will be worth it. Even with AT&T you can place any name on your "ID"

This seems serious and knowing you ...keep yourself in check.
Trust me I would be the same way with something like this and my family.

Is her number readily available at her workplace ? That would be my first place looking to end it. Change the number make sure only a few people have it, and explain to those people that the number is not to be given to everyone.

I am happy that my wife only gives out my number.

Well then, not really sure what I would do.

Maybe give the phone to the police for a few days. Let them see what's happening and maybe they can track it down.

There has to be a way to find out who it is.

Guaranteed if that number phoned in a threat against some politician they could track the person down.

Rereading my "contributions" to this thread, I wish I'd resisted the urge to be funny... there's nothing at all funny about any of this...

Sorry, Hos, you deserved better from me...

Take a look at what apps might be available. Some of them will answer and disconnect calls for you automatically. They're pretty flexible and should do what you want. I'm not sure if they can handle blanket blocked numbers, but they probably can. If not, you can go through the more laborious steps of whitelisting your contacts, for sure.

Here's a youtube video for one such app. I'm sure there are competitors out there that offer options.

Hell man, I love laughing. Joke all you want. I took no offense to anyone in this thread.

He only tried three times last night and the latest one was just before 10:30. He may be losing interest in this "game" of his. I hope so.

Did you call the cops?
Yes, we did. They claim there is nothing they can do. I agree with Hoofbite, if these calls were going to a politician they'd find a way.

well this is simple then, find a politicians phone number and have your wifes blocked calls forwarded it that number, problem should sort itself out.

Just change the number

While this is the easy way to solve the problem, what if the ******* gets the new number?

Change again?

IMO, this is more about an invasion of privacy and a personal threat than it is about the nuisance of being called.

I'd only change the number as a last resort. If someone was that persistent with their harassment, is a new number really going to change anything at all?

I have zero doubt they can get that number. They just don't care enough to.

They can triangulate the position of a phone using the towers it's bouncing off of but they can't come up with a number after unlimited calls?

My ***.

Well if this person gets the new number its someone she knows dishing it out. Unfortunately there isnt much else u can do with a blocked number. Ive had that before. I let it ride out a week then it stopped. Cops wont do anything unless there is messages and threats.

Just tell the phone company to block Dave Campo's number and see if that fixes it.
