Myth of no open receivers

Jenkins is playing zone and is looking at Dak to see where the ball would go. Jenkins is going toward Dez because Dak is turning toward Dez and Dunbar as Dak is getting ready to throw the ball to Dunbar. Had Dak started to throw toward Bease's direction, Jenkins would have went toward Bease and not Dez.

Here is a pic right before Dak starts to turn toward Dez and Dumbar.
As you can see, Jenkins is watching Dak and is in position to make a play toward either Bease or Dez.

And he is planting back towards Dez as he cuts his route back, leaving Beasely wide open.

It's all there for everyone to see.
Missed opportunity.

If you watch the video, Jenkins is driving away from Beasley before Dak even begins his throwing motion. In the pic you posted, Jenkins is looking right at Dez and doesn't even begin to cover Beasley. I know you feel you are right on this one but everything and everyone suggests otherwise. Dak missed a big play and that's that. All qb's miss guys, this is an example of one Dak clearly missed. There isn't any spin going on, he just missed it.

That's at least six plus yards to cover and Dak can easily lead Beasley a little more to the inside even if we assume Jenkins made his decision to go Beasley at that moment Dak releases the ball.. no way Jenkins could make any play on that..

and that is built on the assumption that Jenkins hasn't chosen yet when it's clear he's looking directly at Dak, who hasn't even pulled the ball yet to make a throw but just looking, meaning scanning..

You are basing the distance (6 yards) on what happened due to the pass to Dunbar but had Dak thrown it to Bease, Jenkins would be closer to Bease than what the pic is showing.

Jenkins and Bease are at around 39 yard marker when Dak would have made the throw . Jenkins would have kept running toward Bease from 39 yard line which mean he would be right on him as the ball arrives.

Also because of the LB in front of Beasely, Dak would have to float the ball more and can't just throw a dart towards Beasly.

Could Dak have made the play? Maybe. But it's not an easy pitch and catch play to wide open Beasley as some are trying to make it out to be.

If you watch the video, Jenkins is back peddling side ways watching Dak and facing Beasely until he sees Dak turn toward Dez. It's not until Dak starts his throwing motion toward Dez/Dunbar, Jenkins drives away from Beasley.

BTW, not everyone agrees. Campo disagrees with you and tweeted pretty much the same thing I posted about this play.

You said theogt pic and his assessment was 100% correct and I was wrong due to lack of football knowledge. Campo disagrees.

It is accurate. The video confirms it. If the video is BS, what evidence is not?

Video confirms what? Your bias. Video isn't BS. Your analysis of the video is BS. Campo commented on the same video and said pretty much what I posted.

I could post gifs, but I'm tired of this already.

There was another play where Beasley split the two defenders and was wide open streaking to the endzone. That was a walk in TD that Romo would have cashed in on.

I love Dak. Couldn't be more happy we have him on the team. But the guy had one of the worst games I've ever seen. And he's been missing open receivers all year long. It's not just this game. He's a rookie. It's expected.

But I want a Super Bowl, not growing pains.

Great post. It's been going on all year.

You can't even keep what you've said straight.

You said BS evidence. You were wrong. Just like you have been about everything. Keep appealing to authority. It is a very poor argument. It's a fallacy.

What? Are you this dense or just trolling? How many times I have to spell it out for you. The BS is the pic and the analysis you told me was 100% correct. The one I kept proving you and other Dak haters wrong on. The one that supposedly showed Dak missing wide open Beasley on a easy pitch and catch.

I have doubts, but if you pay attention, you just might learn something.

You said I based my opinion on BS evidence. Considering I based my opinion on the video, that means you are saying the video is BS. Since then, you have tried to dodge and deflect and change your argument to my bias and other nonsense.

If you want dense, check a mirror.

Do you have a point? I asked you already if you are calling the video BS. Are you now confirming that is what you are doing?

What part of "pic is from the video" can't you understand? The pic was lifted from the video.:facepalm:

Apparently the Giants are so good a single corner can cover both Dez and Beasley who are running routes 15 yards apart. Amazing, really. Dude can backpedal 10-15 yards in apparently 1 second flat.

Not only that, but Jenkins must be super human. He can be breaking one direction with Beasley sprinting in the opposite direction and somehow, through superior genetics, change direction and reach full speed in an instant to cover Beasley.

We missed out on that free agent. The dude is Deion reincarnated... only better.

39 yard to 46 yard is 10-15 yards? OK. Good to know.
