Just because a player chooses another team doesn't mean anything untoward against Dallas. Its the right of any free agent. They have families and reasoning. The reason is called money. I read that the Eagles didn't want to pay him what he wanted due to his injury history. Evidently Jerry was willing.

Yep and probably other reasons which wouldn't be unusual at all. People need to give this Dallas drama thing a rest. Sheesh.

Their Super Bowl wins probably feel as far back as ours do. For somebody Nakobe Deans age.

Most likely it was some language in the contract. Very possibly an injury clause. Saying reduced pay or the sorts. Which is standard in some deals.

I know our 30 year history doesn't exactly promote confidence in our team or Jerry. Maybe we're relegated to shopping off the clearance rack....

I think our fanbase drastically overrates this team.

FA do not want to come here and play. The fact there is no state tax and FAs routinely turn down offers says a lot.

Listen to what players who leave the Cowboys say. Its almost identical. "Its nice to be somewhere where I can focus on football."

That speaks volumes.

Nothing to see here. Seriously. Players have private lives outside of the game. I highly doubt its because we did anything unusual in the offer. Literally could be anything as to why he chose the Raider's instead of us. No hard feelings. I trust CP.

I think the fans get bored. They try to create a narrative that makes sense relative to their distain for the Jones boys. When in fact, they may have done nothing wrong in making the offer. It was probably just a matter of a player flipping a coin... Maybe he was torn on this decision. Good player, wish he was a cowboy, but honestly, plenty others out there we can go get. Folks gotta relax.

He probably wanted to play with his friend from Georgia and the Cowboys didn't want to sign both because they are going to draft one like C J Allen or Jacob Rodriguez.

No one wants to play for the Cowboys anymore. The owner is old, out of touch, and stuck in the past, and the front office reflects that. Instead of paying players what they’re worth or committing to proven talent, they pinch pennies and gamble on bargain signings. Around the league, the Cowboys aren’t seen as a serious contender—they’re seen as a dysfunctional franchise. And that won’t change until Jerry Jones and his son finally step aside.
