Yep, Dallas got a lot of hate for the JFK assassination even in Louisiana. That could explain all the Saints fans around here. You're not the first to say that to me on a Cowboys forum, but I've never once heard anyone say anything negative about Texas..........other than about the Cowboys, of course.
I have friends that recently moved back to the Boston area. Many of their family members have made comments to them about how Dallas killed their President. I choose to bite my tongue about it but I think it's a shame that kind of bias still exist in this country after all these years. Anyway, music is definitely something that can unite us. Peace to you my Cowboys brethren. You're not the first to say that to me on a Cowboys forum, but I've never once heard anyone say anything negative about Texas..........other than about the Cowboys, of course.
Seems like just an excuse to hate Dallas. I don't know how anyone can possibly blame a city or state for an assassination. How come nobody blames Ohio for the deaths of all those students?....or CT for the deaths of all the children in Sandy Hook?I have friends that recently moved back to the Boston area. I agree, it's an awesome thread! Post some lyrics you know! This is a great thread. I hope it goes on for a very long time. I don't know most of the lyrics because I don't listen to the same music as most. It's still fun to try and put a voice to some of those lyrics and when you do, BAM you solved a Rubic's Cube.
Agreed, plus its great to learn the correct words to songs rather than the gibberish I'm been muttering all these years. LOLThis is a great thread. I hope it goes on for a very long time. So Into You - Atlanta Rhythm SectionThinking how it's going to be
Whenever I get you next to me
It's gonna be good, dont you know
From your head to your toe
Gonna love you all over, over and over
Me into you, you into me, me into you
Pack up all your dishes.
Make note of all good wishes.
Say goodbye to the landlord for me.
That son of a ***** has always bored me.

Ok — here’s some favorite lyrics:
“Drive west on Sunset to the sea,
Turn that jungle music down
Just until we’re out of town.
This is no one-night stand, it’s a real occasion;
Close your eyes and we’ll be there,
It’s everything they say,
The end of a perfect day,
Distant ships from across the bay.”
