ONLY shot we have to run the ball is keeping Tyler at guard and then going out and signing a legitimate LT.
I understand. I just don’t think that’s a viable option. Who’s going to be out there? Teams aren’t just going to give up their LT.

And this is why we used our 1st pick was for Tyron’s heir apparent. We were only moving him in to LG until Tyron was done.

Before the game there were some talking about how Ball was getting “progressively” better.

Last night was more cold water on that notion.

Maybe Ball will improve over time. But right now, he’s an issue and the Cowboys have a LT problem.

His feet are way too slow. That isnt going to change. Maybe a backup at RT. LT's need to be really really good.

We forget that Tyron started his Rookie season as well. Originally at RT then with Doug Free embarrassed at LT moved him over.

Maybe that’s what we’ll do. Start someone else at LT which will be a total disaster and then we’ll insert Tyler. Lol

I was talking about both. Our current starting oline is bad to average. Giants have a better starting Oline right now.
Understood and I agree. My point was Nate was only talking about who was playing last night .

Fischer is an option right now!

Ball looked like a disappointment. Looked ok against second stringers. We should have brought in a O-Line coach during the offseason.

I watched the game last night. He's a mauler with no quickness and no technique. Those guys hang
around the league for a few years and turn into bouncers at you local strip club.

Yes , he did. Not sure why it would be better for anyone else we saw last night including Ball.

We forget that Tyron at 20 years old started his Rookie season. Albeit at RT but was moved over after Doug Free was a failure at LT.

And that’s possibly what we’ll see is starting someone else who’s a disaster and then moving Tyler over out of desperation.

I think philibin needed to go. Our O-Line had injuries last year and his adjustments stunk. He knows Tyler can play LT. He put him at LG to learn the ropes from Tyron. Ok. Did you see Tyler getting any snaps at LT. I haven’t paid attention in preseason. But I hope he let him cut his teeth in the NFL in preseason at least to get some reps. Did he even give him LT reps in practice. Or just LG. We need to line up and play power blocking. Let’s these guys maul. But philibin likes zone blocking. We don’t need dancing bears, we need grizzly’s.

I think Tyler can be all pro good at guard. Not sure about Tackle.

I would much prefer to sign a guy like Fischer and let Tyler play the first year at guard.

Best bet is to have power blocking. Let them maul. Instead philibin will have them zone blocking.

His adjustments didnt stink, his backups did. Connor Williams has always been bad. Not much you can do with garbage. When we had a complete, healthy Oline the first 8 games we were balling.

Sure but do you think we’ll pursue that? I’m discussing what I think our FO and Mgmt will do not what I think they should do.
