National Football Entertainment League

COWBOYS final score today against the Giants on 9/11 was Giants 20 Cowboys 19.

The majority of the public was taking the Giants this is why Vegas gave the Cowboys 1.5 points.

So the final score for gamblers was
Giants 20
Cowboys 20.5

Isn't it convenient how Vegas usually wins. Cowboys conveniently covered by .5 points.

Well, I don't want to be insensitive considering today's date and the obvious bigger picture BUT there was something going on in that game in NY against the Jets on SNF on 9/11/11.....The Jets didn't get called for one penalty, that was by design.

Yeah, I made money on the loss (ironically):D There is a definite connection and why they won't allow Vegas to have a pro team; would open the whole can of worms. No one is THAT good at predictions; we can't be that naive. If it wasn't fixed, they wouldn't be doing it (Casinos/Vegas)...also why casinos hate poker players unless they spend their poker profits on table games like many do (they get a rake, but it's not fixed like their other games). Similar to blackballing card counters.

You don't understand gambling. They set the lines to balance betting on both sides. They make money on the vig.

That's the goal. To get the bets at 50/50 because regardless of the outcome casinos make money on the juice. But it doesn't always work out that way. Sometimes you get lopsided action. And when this happens more often then not the results favor the casinos.

Let's take today's Steelers vs Commanders game. The majority of the public will be taking the Steelers.
The Commanders are +2.5 underdogs.
I wouldn't be surprised if Commanders upset the Steelers or cover the spread.

Bob knows his cards, so it would surprise me if he didn't know sports gambling either. I dabble in sports betting but am no way a pro at it. Seems curious though at times (the exact scores coinciding with games when refs are heavily involved in the outcome via discretionary penalties). I know there are ample examples to counter it, but makes the Mulder ears perk up.

Here is a chart of how the money is looking at the moment. ( note the above chart will change before game times but we get an idea on what the public is betting)

Follow the money and you will see more often the not Casinos will conveniently beat the public.

Games that stand out to me from this chart are Vikings/packers
Jacksonville/ SAN Diego

In this chart we can get an idea of how the money looked for the past 3 Super Bowls.
And who benefited from the outcome.

It is my opinion that the NFL is rigged to some extent. Outcomes are decided beforehand to create desirable story lines that turn profits for the league.

I made about 3k testing this theory last season in the playoffs. I only lost in one playoff game. And in that game I picked the right winner just didn't cover the spread.

I also predicted the Super Bowl contestants and winner a month before. And also predicted the Super Bowl MVP.

So either I was lucky or there's something going on.

I know it's a controversial subject but I'm curious to hear others point of view.

then by all means, make 3 million dollars this year

THE CASINOS ALWAYS BEAT THE PUBLIC, IT IS CALLED VIG!

You referenced the lines moving. This is because they don't want big money on either side, they want balanced betting, so they can just take a percentage of the action. I can't believe you are this dense.

Yes that's the goal. In a perfect world casinos would have even money on both sides. It that's the case then YES casinos make money on the VIG (juice) regardless of the outcome.

But this is not always the case. This is why they adjust the line to even the pot. But again you will always have lopsided action It's not gonna be even all of times.

But that is the casinos job to get the bets as even as possible to guarantee they win on the VIG alone. Which isn't always the case.

I think Cowboys beat the 2.5 point spread against the Commanders Sunday but may lose another close game the last seconds of the game.

Dak and Elliot will be decent but the defense will ultimately lose the game.

Hope I'm wrong.

Why would the NFL want Vegas to make money?....... They make billions without a conspiracy that would ruin everything with no upside......what you are dealing with are a couple coincidences and some confirmation biases.....if a Sportsbook can't even things up they usually lay some bets off on other books

Because the NFL is probably getting paid as well. They are partnered with Draft Kings after all. So they're most likely scrathing each other's backs.
And things happen more often then not to be a coincidence. I also think story lines play a big role.

NFL is partnered with ESPN after all who's owned by Disney who writes the best fairy tale storyes ever.

It also looks like they took it all back and some with the Vikings.http://[URL=http://s1371.***BLOCKED***/user/juan_gonzalez18/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_3383_zpszpdky29l.jpeg.html][IMG]http://i1371.***BLOCKED***/albums/ag302/juan_gonzalez18/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_3383_zpszpdky29l.jpeg

That isn't a system.......it is just a random series of games.....it is like the old gambling touts on TV......they would tell 1/2 the people to bet on GB and the other half to bet on MINN....that way 1/2 the people are happy and come back for more

I'm not saying it's a system. But if you follow the money you will find that more often then not Vegas will conveniently come up on top. Specially on games like Sunday night in which the majority of the public was taking Green Bay.

I'll try to post this weeks chart for the coming week. To see if any games stand out.
