I watched that NE game and i have to admit i saw more crucial calls go against NE, at home, in that game then i may have ever seen.

Usually Rexs' teams get crucified by the refs in NE.

Fun thread.

And this is why I thought Vikings would win. They won and covered the spread. Isn't it convenient that time and time again Vegas comes out on top?
And for any of you that watched the game I don't know if you noticed the amount of flags against the Giants.

Here's how the AZ game bets looked. Again casinos conveniently won.

After it was announced Palmer would not play the spread moved up to -4.
Shouldn't the news of Palmer not starting lower the spread to maybe a pickem? To even the bets.
The reason it did not was because it was a trap for more people to take the niners.

I circled other matches that stand out as of now.
More bets will come before Sunday. But if the bets were to stay as they are now.

Browns cover the spread against the Pats
Eagles lose or Detroit covers the spread in a close game
Cowboys beat the Bengals
Oakland beats SD

Article on NFL tv ratings drop.
The article explains a 12% drop in ratings this year.

That is a good sign for bigger market teams like the Cowboys, Steelers, etc.

How can the NFL get ratings back up?

By having teams lik the Cowboys relevant again. Cowboys have a huge following. If they start wining season after season the ratings will rise. Fans will tune in to watch them win and trolls who's sole purpose in life is to see the Cowboys lose will tune in to see them fail.

I use the Cowboys as an example cause they're a big market team but havn't done anything in years.

It's time for the NFL to awaken the sleeping giant.
So I see the Cowboys in Super Bowl soon, if this trend continues.

Maybe Dak is just keeping the team together long enough for Romo to come back fresh and make a run at the Super Bowl. Like Payton Manning conveniently did last year.

Jerry Jones said his biggest disappointment as a general manager would be not getting Tony a Championship.

One thing I have noticed the last couple of years, is once a team starts to get a decent lead, the flags start to come out in favor of the other team.

Part of me felt like they were trying to keep the games close, so they are more exciting. I never thought about doing so to help a team cover the spread.

Nothing like a good conspiracy theory to get the mind going.

3 of 5 aint too shabby, a cool $80 richer
You're gonna get rich. Pretty soon
You'll have to quit your day job. LOL

I got lucky in the colts game I ended up getting them at +3.5. So they covered by half a point.

So I ended up losing 2 of 6 if you include Thursday's game.

Forgot to post my pick for Thursday cause I was watching baseball. I took GB -7.5 tho.

Here is a chart on how the matches for Sunday are looking. Something to keep in mind is that it's only Thursday so spreads will change by Sunday.
The one that stands out is NY VS Rams the way it looks now I think Rams win or cover. So I will wait to see if the spread moves to +3 or +3.5

The story line for that game is already brewing with the news of Giants kicker not joining them to London because of his domestic violence accusations . I won't be surprised if Giants lose by a missed fielgoal or something related to the kicker.

The other ones I circled are matches I'm keeping an eye on.
