NBA playoffs Mavs vs Spurs

they are pretty equal, duncan has a dumb look on his face, nowitski screams and points at the part of his body that got fouled.

I think his stupid palms up stance just pisses people off.

:laugh2: I admit it looks ********.

back to the actual action on the court....

obviously game 4 is a must win for the mavs, i would be pleasently surprised if the spurs win that game

Man ..... if the Spurs can take that I believe it will take the Mavs heart.

ya that would be so sweet!! it would give us the luxury of having a home game to close them out

Hill looks to have his offensive mojo back...i hope this is the case. if so, the Mavs are in for a world of hurt. Jefferson didnt score like he did in game 2, but he played solid D, and made some nice passes in the first quarter to set up scores. Good to see Tony is back to making clutch 4th quarter baskets, I have missed that.

It was funny watching Barrea and Hill compete in a flop off.

GO SPURS GO

Manu's nose looked bad.

Hope he is ok.

Nice elbow from the German.

If role players like Hill, Jefferson, McDyess can keep contributing in the way they've been so far in this series, then the Spurs become a much deeper team than the Mavs.

The only thing about the Mavs that scares me is when Dirk gets in that zone. That jumper can be downright unstoppable. Terry can also be a pain in the butt when he gets those open threes.

All in all, though, I don't think the Mavs have the firepower to keep up with the Spurs the way they're playing now.

Damn, when did Richard Jefferson become a role-player?

When he joined the Spurs.

He averaged about 12 points a game this year, about 5 below his career average.

Even if he's playing well, he's at best the fourth best offensive option on this team.

But if the Spurs want to win a series or two in this playoffs, then they'll definitely need some contributions from him.

I was gonna say that I should watch the NBA more to find this stuff out, but naaahhhh

Spurs basketball is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee! Amazing atmosphere last night. It was super loud! And I love seeing Mavs fans getting their panties in a wad. Great stuff. Fun night.

GSG!

In defense of Richard Jefferson

While it is true that his scoring is WAY down, u gotta remember a couple of things, he has never been less than the second scoring option on any team until this year, he is now the fourth at best. His defense has been a very pleasent surprise and his shooting percentage is actually higher this year than last year or his career average.

Mavs' Dampier: 'Call it both ways'

How awesome would it be if the Lakers lost this series?

Getting their arses handed to them tonight!

Unbelievable. Manu gets called for a foul because he put his nose in front of Dirk's big German elbow and Dampier thinks the officiating was lopsided in the Spurs' favor. Good God I hate the Mavs. Everything about them, starting at the top.

The mavs are like 1-16 with the ref crew from last night in the playoffs, i say they have every right to be upset with them even though last night was far from their worst game

The refs tonight are generally awful. And that is for both sides. How many flagrants are they gonna call?

That threat from Stern the other day was a joke.
