Najera is pure garbage. He should be kicked out of the league. Tonight sums up the guys career. He has committed so many cheap and dirty fouls in his career. Both Najera and Mark Madsen both deserve to be sent to basketball purgatory for their sins against the game.

There is physical play and their is unnecessary. Najera was unnecessary. All the other fouls by both teams were physical, playoff type fouls.

I was watching the Spurs broadcast, wish I could have seen Cuban's face as the game ended. I bet the expression was priceless.

Spurs up 3-1. Should be an exciting game 5.

The mavs are like 1-16 with the ref crew from last night in the playoffs, i say they have every right to be upset with them even though last night was far from their worst game

The Mavericks are now 1-16 in the playoffs when Dan Crawford is officiating. I'm not a huge "blame it on the refs" kind of guy, but c'mon that is freakin rediculous. The probability that this is just a random anomoly is so small, especially when you look at Dallas's playoff record in the rest of the games in that time period. It doesnt even matter if he is corrupt or not, it looks horrible for the NBA and he cannot officiate any more Mavericks playoff games. Gah watching the NBA is so frustrating.

Man, some big talk above from Spurs fans. I guess you have the right to so far this series. Just try not to act like 2 year olds w/ the insults (gay [now edited to primadonnas] ...really, thats the best you got??)

I'll agree with one thing - the Mavs have the tendency to be soft, and in the 3rd quarter tonight, the refs let the game get physical and somewhat out of control and the Mavs lost it.

The one difficult thing with calling them soft for me is the fact that when they try to get physical and push back, the Spurs end up on the FT line. This is what got the Spurs back into the game in the 3rd - and even Spurs fans should admit there was about a 5 min. stretch in the 3rd quarter where the Mavs got hosed, lost their cool and really waited too long to gain their composure back.

Heck, even my wife, who grew up near SA and loves the Spurs got fed up with it. I'm a life long Mavs fan, and she a Spurs fan so it's always fun come playoff time - but the last two games have been different for her. This hasn't been the normal BS from officials...this is borderline Heat series calls.

The refs gift-wrapped two very questionable flagrant fouls for your boys tonight, and you still couldn't pull it out. It's very simple. The Mavs are one of the weakest-minded teams in the league and will continue to crumble under pressure when the going gets tough. Horrible leadership both on the court and in the front office will continue to be the cancer that prevents you from ever winning everything. I, for one, love it.

Hopefully Dirk likes fishing.

That would be interesting if both the Mavs and Lakers lost in the opening round (Both a real possibility). The Spurs have owned Phoenix over the years and Utah is down one of their better players. San Antonio and OKC in the Western Conference Finals?
