BTW-proof you get bent out of shape is due to the fact that when I posted that thread you copied in your last post, I was commenting on a few that just made some goofy comments against the Suns and left. That was the homerism I was addressing-then I added your belief with the Suns losing four in a row. Don't be so fragile!!

I am not bent out of shape at all ....

My basketball team has 4 championships in the last decade ..... and their Stars are getting old.

Everything from now on is just icing on the cake.

I could not imagine what it would be like to have an old team that always underperformed ....

And lost me as a fan. I used to love the NBA. Especially the Magic Johnson Showtime Lakers. Now, I couldn't care less.

Why do you insist on going this route? Do you realize it's a waste? People that offer compliments repeatedly for opposing teams don't have ill will or get bothered by "underperforming teams" as you put it.

Well, if you had read the conjunction right, you would have found I was stating two separate issues and it wasn't connecting the two as one.

With that said, I give major props to the Spurs this series. They played clean and they played with tremendous skill the past few games. They turned it on yet again for a great run so far. Win or go home is the MO and Phoenix just got handed their locker room goods compliments of the entire Spurs.

They also do not have the mentality or the smarts to adjust like Pop does for his players. The Spurs were an absolute machine last night and they seemed to have heat seeking missiles for shots. This thread isn't about whining about my team but rather give credit to where credit is due. Just like in an MMA fight where a true fighter congrats the other guy if he owns him due to the love of the game, I do the same for the Spurs this year. You guys have really outclassed us this series and I can always congratulate a better opponent. :bravo:

Actually it was the NBA. I don't blame any player for wanting to protect a teammate. That is a natural instinct.

Neither he nor the other guy (Deow or something) got involved. A fine was warranted more than a suspension for the integrity of the game. Integrity was not what the NBA wanted. They wanted to flex their muscles and growl.

Problem is when the NBA has fights people say its a league full of thugs. They need to do w/e it takes to avoid fights
