Gonzaga has never really broken through though. They have a good program but never can win when it counts.

depends on what you mean by break through.
in the NBA since 1989 there have been only 8 teams win a title.

in NCAA BBall the champ is a big(tho current big east is debateable) conf member every year but a lot of times now that team isn't even the best team in its conference in the regular season.
We've seen 8 and 9 loss teams win titles recently.
With so many close games it takes a miracle to guess them correctly.

The sweet 16 is very attainable for mid major programs.
You really don't see that in other iterations of the sport or in other NCAA sports.

George Hill gets slammed going to the basket, no call, back down the court Lebron goes to the basket and George Hill puts a finger on his shoulder and it's a foul. Fire all these full time refs and start over with part timers.

Well, they did a good job helping keep Indiana in the series last night.

This OKC-SA series is freaking ridiculous. Anybody want to predict the score of the next game?

Also, I'm going on record right now to say that the Heat blow the Pacers out tonight. All that garbage Lance Stevenson has done, and the refs not fouling LeBron out in the first half, essentially, will contribute to the Heat taking care of business.

I don't think the Pacers will get the check to clear for the refs in time for tonight's game.

I'd give you a cookie for being so perfectly right, but well, I ate it...my bad

You were on a roll... wish you would have called the SAS/OKC Game 6 while you were feeling it.
I might have placed some money on it and given you a cut should the winnings undoubtedly have occurred.

OKC will win tonight. Spurs take it at home in 7.

The rematch is on!! If the Spurs can keep their ball movement sharp they can pull it out. I say Spurs in 7. This team is in a mission.

I know Miami wants the 3peat and Dynasty label. The Championship will mark a huge milestone for either franchise. This series will be exciting.

THE REMATCH! This is what I wanted. Go Spurs Go. Send Timmy to retirement on a championship high.

The business of being given the business...

I can't wait for this series!
The right two teams are in and may the best one take it.
Last year's Finals was riveting, though it was the team that I root for that lost.

I hope this year's Finals is just as good with the Silver and Black on top this time.

With wade in better shape this year and more rested I do not see the Spurs making it last longer than 5 or 6 games at best.

Add a hobbled Tony Parker to that. It's difficult.

If it were last year, a hobbled TP deflates our offensive production. Mills, Green and Even Manu (when he plays ball handler) are producing in his absence.

I know Wade is healthier this year than last, but SA as a whole has gotten stronger with more consistent play coming from Manu, Splitter, Green, Mills and Diaw from last year. Each of these guys have been big in the playoffs this year.

This series goes 7 and it won't be easy for the Champion once its over. Just have a hunch it'll be SA!!

Ginobili is playing at a much higher level than he was playing last year. Both Wade and Ginobili were pretty bad last year and have picked up. The Heat lost Mike Miller who was huge for the Heat, Battier is pretty much a non-factor as well, Bird-man is not the same player as last year as well.

The series is going to be close tbh.

Spurs should have won last season but let it slip away. They get revenge this time IMO. Would like to know about Parker and his injuries though, that's a huge factor.
