OKC could have no coach at all and would play the same.

this is true, i really think Presti should've brought someone else in after last season while they still would've had two more seasons to work with KD before he likely gets 1 billion dollars from another team.

I feel like Durant is suffering from the Mike Brown effect, that LeBron had. he has a coach, that just isn't quite capable of stepping up and actaully pushing him to that next level. Right now, Durant's ascension is more because of Hard work, dedication, talent, and his drive to beat LeBron. But he will always fall to teams like the Spurs, and Memphis, and Miami, simply because his coach isn't good enough. If the Thunder truly want to move up the West they need to get an upgrade.

Hopefully it won't be dejavu, one encouraging thing is that it was 17 and 35 point wins, last go around they were semi close wins with, plus they had harden and Ibaka

I swear, I am jealous of the Spurs organization. They just know how to win/contend year in and year out :(

I gotta say this year's playoffs went from encouraging to disappointing very quickly. Before the season even began, I was getting annoyed with the predictability in the NBA, and I was saying to myself, "this year better not turn out to be Spurs vs Thunder and Heat vs Pacers like everyone knows it's gonna be." Well, when the playoffs started, it actually looked like we might be in for a few surprises. The Blazers handling the Rockets was a bit of a surprise; the Warriors and Grizzlies almost pulled the upset; even the Mavericks almost beat the Spurs; and the Pacers were all but finished; and the Wizards surprised the Bulls. It was really looking quite refreshing. Then 5 of the 8 first round series went into game 7's where all the favorites easily won. So in the span of one night, the second went round from looking like it would be a total surprise to exactly what everyone predicted. Now, here we are, Spurs vs Thunder and Heat vs Pacers, and it looks like it'll be a rematch of the Spurs vs Heat. Now, don't get me wrong, I think it'll be a great Finals. I think the Heat got lucky beating the Spurs last year, and it'll really be a great series. But it's just so predictable. Something really needs to happen to the NBA. We go from a 3-peat to a 3-peat to a 3-peat. You never see teams come out of nowhere and win a championship like you see with the Seahawks, Ravens, Packers, Saints in the NFL.

This is a better Spurs team as well. Leonard, Splitter, and Green are also much better players now and they have Diaw and Mills.

Part time NFL refs are a million times better than full time NBA refs.

LeBron is right!

Me too. I am jealous of nothing except that. They have sprinkled what 5 titles in 15 years or so?

Damn.

4 titles, should be 5, but they choked away the final 30 seconds of game 6 last year.

Now they have to go for 5 this season. I want 5 this year, then come back strong and get 6 next year, repeating of course, and then have Manu and Timmy hang up their sneakers.

GO SPURS GO

don't give up on okc yet.
ibaka might play now that the series is back in okc and that is a different ballgame.

indy/miami is a lot of fun. old school ugly mug'em basketball that evolves around who gets in foul trouble first but fun all the same.

Roy Hibbert is an embarrassment, how many dunks does this guy turn into 2 foot jump shots that clang off the rim?

Super nervous for tonight's game. Do not be fooled by the Spurs being up 2-0 games. The series is just getting started.
