NCAA 2018 College Football

They at least were smart enough to not want Holgerson.
Shoot Tech fans were plenty mad they didn't at least interview Holgy who was a Leach disciple so basically good as gold.

Wells has been scrapping along with no facilities and on a team that had won 7 plus games like 4 times in it's long history but Tech fans have never watched a single game.
Now they(we) will all watch Utah St versus UNT.

Holgerson lost WVU at least two games just this year with constantly going for it on 4th down instead of taking the field goal. He is a pretty good OC but cannot keep himself in check as a HC.

Here's some college and Cowboys trivia...

Last Sunday, I was talking to Charlie Waters about the college playoffs.
I forgot that he used to be the QB and especially the WR for Clemson.
The former Cowboy great at cornerback (played in 5 Super Bowls and was a 3 time Pro Bowler) could play other positions well too

He was my fave (non-Staucbach) player as a little kid.

I wore 41 as a high school outside linebacker.

That's awesome.
He's such a nice person too.
We attend the same church in Dallas, so I run into him (and also Bob Breunig) from time to time.

Texas got a pretty good 2019 recruiting class.
Sad to see them lose out on RB Noah Cain.
No 5 stars though.

Recruiting hasn't been Texas problem since like David McWilliams.
They simply haven't done enough with the talent on campus.

UT fans wanna worry about national relevance but first they need to start finishing top 3 in the Big 12 yearly.
Dominate the guys you do soundly out-recruit yearly and then worry about the 1-2 games a year you may face someone with a better recruiting profile.

I think Herman can recruit plenty and he has the budget to hire top assistants. They appear headed to national prominence again.
But they need to kill outside noise and just win games.

unreal...Tcu wins in OT 10-7.
Ive never seen so many INTs...both sides.
fittingly...it was a INT by Tcu in OT that set them up to win it.

Baylor averaged 24 per game in Big 12.. scores 45 vs SEC opponent....

Nothing worse than the college football narratives.
Give us a real playoff now for the love of all that is holy about sports.

I expected a better showing from Purdue than this...63-14 blowout.
Not surprised that Auburn won....but WOW!!!!!

Malzahn finally gave up on OC's calling plays went to calling plays himself. Looks like it worked out pretty good and makes you wonder why he wasn't calling plays all year. He's been through 2 OC's in 3 years.

Washington St LB Peyton Pelluer made a heckuva play that set-up their TD here in the 4th.
He is Scott Pelluer's son...who I think played here for Coach Landry...and Steve's nephew...who was his QB.
wonder if he gets a chance here too...family tradition.

Scott played here in '81...training camp body.

So who thinks Alabama has any chance whatsoever against Oklahoma today?
