Watching the movies in order of the numbers and not when made is really dumb. They are called prequels for a reason.

A friend showed his daughter starting with Episode I. It was a dramatic mistake in her world. She was a previous watcher of clone wars and was really disappointed to find out that Vader was Anakin so quickly. If he had to do it over again... original trilogy, than prequels.

It's like skipping over Elvis' early career from his Sun years to early 1956, and listening to his final years from 1977 when he couldn't move onstage and his voice was no longer raw and energetic. That's what the prequels are compared to the originals.

Well... I don't know of what you speak, concerning the original trilogy... I still have not seen it. But I just completed the prequel trilogy and I'm surprised to say overall I liked it. Episode III was what sold me on the series. I & II were like children shows at times and I hate Jar Jar, very annoying. Anyway, the original trilogy will have to wait until later. Good night.

Episode III is the best of the prequels. But those movies were just cgi overkill.

I thoroughly enjoyed II and III, especially III, I thought it was great.

I think a lot of the hate comes from nostalgia of the originals. Growing up collecting action figures pretending we were Luke Skywalker,ha. People our parents age certainly don't care or like those original movies, just like a lot don't the prequels cause, well, we.re in our 30s and 40s.

Anyone else going to not read any review of the new one til they see it? I know people are going to troll and say it's horrible regardless

People are drawn to the originals because of the emotion of the characters and the heart they had for one another. Luke, Leia, Solo, Obi Wan, Chewi, Yoda, C3P0 & R2D2, etc. And the strength of the Force by the Jedi vs the Dark side. The conflict with that.

Im gonna try to see it as soon as it comes out, but that might be tough considering its OT season at work. Im going to try to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but that may take a full tech bkackout lol

Just made arrangements to take my nephew to see it and just pre ordered tickets for 5pm the 18th. I work 1030pm to 630 AM so Ill crash right after work and get up an hour before the movie. Might not be too hard to avoid the spoilers
